Great Unit!

This air conditioner is a beast! It cools down the house quickly and keeps the temperature very consistent. It's quiet, but louder than the Midea smaller units. It is a bit challenging to install. (We won't be removing it for the winter months). I highly recommend this unit.

Best AC

Cools down my 1500sqft with no problems. Even when it's been in the 90°'s for days. Top notch product. Make sure you have the correct outlet

Very nice unit/price - with some issues, to note

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ, BEFORE BUYING! The dimensions listed are incorrect (not Sam's fault - Midea has them wrong, on their website)! The correct ones: 23.62(W) X 17.91 (H) X 25.39(D). Also - like most high BTU units, it requires a 220/230V outlet (which is clearly stated). I've lived with the unit for about two weeks, with only some minor issues keeping it from being 5-star: - while it's much quieter when cooling than the non-inverter unit it replaced, the fan speeds seem overly high, with "Low" being more like "High" on the old unit. As a consequence, it produces considerable white-noise "whoosh", when running. - unlike any of my prior units with a red "Filter" indicator, this one's LED is blue - like all the other lights, on the display. This requires a more careful monitoring of it. While using it on the normal cooling mode, I was experiencing quite a lot of humidity (though a brutal heat wave likely played a factor), so I gave the "Eco" setting a try: it does a good job of maintaining a steady temp, while not having the unit running full-time lowered the overall humidity (when it kicks on to cool, I can watch the % number on my dehumidifier's hygrometer display increase). Overall it seems to be a good unit - at a nice price, compared to similar units/stores.

Much bigger than advertised, uncommon 20Amp cord

The unit is 5 inches taller than advertised making it almost impossible to install. You have to take the unit apart to install it. It has an uncommon 20amp cord (nema 6-20p). Highly disappointed with this unit's description and images
