It’s programmable up to 20 hours, it has a digital display that counts down the remaining time, and it automatically goes into keep warm mode, which is a great feature for when you’re running a little late getting home. The lid locks on, so no more unfortunate accidents when transporting to that holiday party, and it comes with an insulated, zip up bag that the entire slow cooker fits into, to ensure that your food stays nice and hot.

I bought 2 of these to use at our church. The exterior is a lightweight thin metal. Within 2-3 minutes of starting the unit, the exterior was so hot that I couldn't touch it with my bare hands. I will be returning both units. There's too much risk of someone getting burned if they touch the exterior of the unit.
