We purchased this mattress set about two weeks ago, and it is nice and firmed like we expected, which I believe is good when you have some sort of back pains. The mattress is pretty thick and pillow top is comfortable and firm.

This mattress doesn't have much in the way of a pillow top. It is firm but still soft enough to sleep on. It has helped with my back and shoulder issues, and I'm loving it so far.

Purchased this mattress as I have numerous spine issues and my physical medicine specialist recommended a firm mattress. Admittedly it takes some getting used to but I no longer wake up stiff, hunched over, limping and in pain.
