Bought this for $200 from Best Buy to replace a 30 year old big, heavy RCA tv. I already had a 43 inch Samsung in my den that I purchased a few years ago. It works fine and so I bought another 43 inch for our living room. It’s big enough and fits perfectly in the space formerly occupied by our old tv. Picture and sound are excellent. The only negative was the lack of RCA cable sockets to accommodate my Sony DVD player. Had to purchase a converter, which added $30 to the final cost. Still a reasonable prices

After a few months it started to freeze up daily. But then a major update fixed it. Now its faster than when it was new. Like using device care every few weeks. Helps clean up background apps. The rechargeable solar-powered remote is great.

I have it connected to my PC as a monitor and the picture outputs 4K on a dual monitor setup. TV functionality and the free channels are also a great addition. Brightness is great for a well lit room (but not in direct sunlight). One thing that could have been better is speed. TV menus can sometimes stutter. Contrast is enough for a PC connection. Occasionally color output on a PC connection is not as good as an actual monitor which would require tuning (not sure why that happens). Refresh Output of 60Khz is good enough for a budget tv

My brother is a tech guy and always had Sony TV sets and I was very surprised to see a Samsung TV had taken the place of his former favorite brand. His Samsung really impressed me with the better quality and when asked he explained that Samsung flat screens had totally surpassed his old favorite brand by leaps and bounds. Higher quality in picture, sound, resolution and connectivity to the internet. He convinced me after his professional explanation, along with viewing his Samsung LED tv, to make Samsung my next TV purchase. I am so much more impressed with my Samsung over my Sony Bravia TV that I now have 3 Samsung LED televisions in my home. I sold the Bravia cheap to a gentleman looking for an inexpensive monitor. I am now COMPLETELY a loyal Samsung customer. The BEST television on the market and priced for regular working class heroes, like me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this as a replacement for a previous Samsung TV. I was satisfied with it until it got old and no longer performed well. Would take up to 5 minutes to get to a program after turning on.When using a streaming services(I don't use cable anymore) it would also take excessive time to load, and would frequently be kicked back to Samsung plus.requiring a restart of whichever service I was watching.It could take a 1/2 hour or more to see 10 minutes of a program. I am laying these problems out to show that I was very happy with the TV until this happened.so when I purchased a replacement I got another Samsung. This one was a step up in size.I trust the Samsung name. I possess several other Samsung products and am totally satisfied with them.(refrigerator,sound system,etc.This new TV is functioning flawlessly. So I'm sold on Samsung. By the way, the old TV's failure was attributed to a deteriorating power supply.
