Some issues I’ve found
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the tv, however it is difficult to set the tv’s start up channel. I finally got it so I don’t have to use 2 remotes to get to regular stations. I have Comcast remote & tv remote. Another issue is that every once in a 5, when I turn the tv on, there is no sound. It’s a pain to get the tv remote and toggle through the options to get the sound back on. Outside of those flaws, the tv is ok.
Hi Evie, Thank you for your review and for sharing your experience with your U8000F TV. If you’re not hearing any sound, whether using TV speakers or an external audio device, here are several steps that can help get things working again. 1. Start with Basic Checks • Make sure the TV isn’t muted and the volume is turned up. • If using an external audio device, ensure it’s powered on, set to the correct source, and the volume is turned up there as well. • Unplug your TV for 30 seconds, then plug it back in and power it on. 2. HDMI ARC / eARC Connection • Use a certified High-Speed HDMI cable with Ethernet. Connect it to the HDMI eARC ports on both the TV and the soundbar/receiver. • Enable these settings: o Settings > All Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > HDMI eARC Mode = Auto o Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > External Device Manager > Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) = On • Check the digital audio format: Settings > All Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Output Audio Format o If you're not sure what your connected device supports, set it to Auto. 4. Bluetooth Audio Connection • Pair your Bluetooth device: Settings > All Settings > Sound > Sound Output > Bluetooth Speaker List • If your Bluetooth device doesn’t appear or won’t connect, move it closer to the TV, ensure it’s in pairing mode, and select Scan. • If paired but no sound, unpair the device and try reconnecting. 5. Wi-Fi / Wireless Speakers • Confirm the speakers and the TV are on the same Wi-Fi network. Use: Settings > All Settings > Sound > Sound Output > Wi-Fi Speaker Surround Setup • Reboot both the TV and the Wi-Fi speakers, and check your router for connection strength. 6. Other Helpful Tips • Run a Sound Test: Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Sound Test • Update TV firmware to rule out compatibility issues: Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now • If using a cable box or external streaming device, double-check that the device’s audio output settings are set to HDMI or the appropriate output. If you still don’t hear sound after following these steps, please don’t hesitate to reach out so we can assist further. My first Samsung 4K Smart TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my first Samsung 4K Smart TV and it’s better than I ever could have expected. The TV has excellent picture quality. I also bought my first Samsung sound bar with the TV. This brought my entertainment experience to much higher level. I was able to connect my TV to my cable box and my VCR/DVD player with ease. I was able to connect to my WIFI and quickly have access to all my streaming apps. Samsung TV and sound bar were both excellent choices.
SAMSUNG X2
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I retired 5 years ago and purchased a new TV for my new apartment. I looked at them all on many showroom floors before finally deciding on a 60 inch Samsung. Why Samsung? Well, it had the best picture, was easy to operate, and was the best value for the money. I love this TV and still have it, however, for Christmas on December 2025, my family purchased another Samsung almost identical to the one I had. The second TV was installed in my bedroom. I am 75 years old and have a few health issues. Having this second TV guaranteed me I would never miss a program. My new TV is just as wonderful as the first Samsung I bought. It has a few more frills than my first TV from Samsung but the great picture is the same. I think this last TV that my family surprised me with is probably the best gift I will ever receive in my lifetime. My grandson loaded the TV up with access to many networks,Netflix, Roku, peacock,Samsung Plus, Prime Video, and Tubi. I have more channels to choose from for my viewing pleasure. I think Samsung is truly the best TV on the market and I wish everyone had one in their homes to enjoy.
Clearview
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I love my tv the large screen it's light and shows great pictures, sound not so great, but I added a sound bar .I actually like it. I just won't recommend the remote for an elderly person.
Remote problems.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice television set. It has a real nice color. Only problem is for an unknown reason the remote doesn't work properly. The remote quits working. it freezes up. We have to unplug the tv and plug it back in for the remote to work. This has happened 3 times in the short time we have owned this set.
Hi Lori, Thank you for your feedback. If your remote isn’t responding, here are a few quick steps to help determine if it’s working correctly: 1. Check the batteries: Remove the back cover of your remote and replace the batteries with a fresh set, ensuring they are inserted in the correct direction. 2. Test for infrared signal: Point the front of the remote at your smartphone camera. While holding down any button, you should see a flashing light through the camera screen. (For iPhone users, the front-facing camera works best.) If you see the light, your remote is working and may need to be re-paired with your TV. 3. Point the remote correctly: Try pointing the remote directly at the TV from about 5-6 feet away. This can help ensure a clearer signal between the remote and the TV. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s hard to view due to blasting contrast and brightness.washed out colors, it’s not a good TV. Adjustments only go so far, it’s still difficult to watch for a long period of time because of eye strain. The past models were so much better then the current line.

Issues may cause us to switch away from Samsung
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I may switch away from Samsung although I have purchased all my TVs and computer screens Samsung. Problem is the remote is too small and touchy, the mute same button as up/down volume is a bad choice, keep muting when only want to change volume. The remote only for on/off function some computer screens aggravating if using a PC. The menu on TV is frustrating to use and navigate. I can only say that someone over thought these products. Changing TV input frustrating to navigate to. Think Roku, keep it simple and adjust the remote so that each time you pick it up or put it down the buttons are not pressed and TV mute or changes. That NEVER happens with Roku type remote or the larger 3rd party remotes.
Hi BobW, Thank you for sharing your experience. Samsung remotes are designed to offer convenient control, but we understand if you’d prefer to use a universal remote. Many third-party remotes work well with Samsung TVs, though setup steps may vary by brand and model. To get started, we recommend checking the manufacturer’s instructions for programming codes and pairing methods. If you run into any trouble or have compatibility questions, Samsung Support is happy to help. You can reach us at 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat – Sun). Easy user interface
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] at first glance this TV looks like any ordinary TV simple easy to use Plug and Play . but once you interact with the interface which is much simpler then the previous interfaces from other TVs for the qled the fhd series of TVs . as soon as you plug and turn on the TV you'll be greeted with an introduction like any other TV but this was more interactive more immersive the sound is unbelievable especially by connecting a soundbar Soundbar or external AV unit the picture is crystal clear the only thing I do hesitate on is the frame rate . the frame rate improve Samsung has at least to put in variable refresh rate, ALLM, and away to clear the image when it comes to screen tearing in my experience with various TVs that I had over the years there's always a problem with screen tearing and it's a little frustrating when it comes to TVs other than that the Aesthetics to it externally where is top notch. the brightness is impeccable there's no need for me to adjust brightness of the TV it just stays as is. wants to playing games again coming back with the variable refresh rate and ALLM, to have a more immersive impeccable experience comes to go to Mid budget TVs. the resolution when it comes to movies television sports games and video games I have no issues. as to the color vibrancy and HDR can I complain again same thing with the brightness there's very little adjustments I need to make it just how it's just how I on a TV keep in mind that I have been using Sony TVs TCL and Vizio, an overall they are nothing compared to the lineage of Samsung TVs. it's affordability it's easier to the user who wants to go from a small TV to a gigantic TV for a more in theater experience. any conclusion , regardless of the simplest flaws if I were to make a choice between other lineage of TVs such as Sony, LG, Vizio, TCL, others my first choice will definitely being Samsung.
