The fleece interior makes it soft to the touch as well as a great barrier to keep her warm. My only dislike is the color. My 8 year old will have it dirty in no time but that's just a dislike from a parent, not on the product itself. I stay away from white clothing for kids. They don't stay that way for long.

The inside has a fleece type of fabric and it feels very soft. It is a great hoodie for cool weather. It looks like it runs a little small, my daughter is a size 12 and this 14/16 fits perfect on her.
