I’ve been buying these blankets for years. Years. Always a sherpa side. Until recently - now there are two completely different blankets in this listing. They really need to split this listing into 1. the version with a sherpa side and 2. The version that’s just plain old fleece on both sides. Non-sherpa is not nearly as nice or warm as the sherpa version. I probably have a dozen sherpa versions in my house right now. Everyone I’ve bought a Christmas present for in the last few years likely received one from me. My dad wanted a new one so I ordered this blue plaid… so disappointed. Bottom line, look carefully and zoom in on the photos....

I washed it following the directions and it lost some of its softness. Though it is still very soft it is not quite the luxurious feel you had once first purchased. I suggest if you buy this blanket do not wash it til it is absolutely necessary and do not make a habit of washing it unless you get something on it if you want it to stay soft. But for 15 bucks you can buy a few and they should last you for quite some time.
