I have been buying costly hearing aids for over 20 years, and the last pair were custom molded for my ears and almost invisible. They cost more than double the price of these. However, I could not wear them for more than a couple of hours as they would hurt my ears and also itch. So, I often took them out during the day and now have misplaced them. It is almost impossible for me to communicate in a noisy environment or with a soft spoken person without hearing aids. I needed something fast and had already bought and returned a pair of Sony OTC hearing amplifierts. They were $999, so Sam's had these in stock and the tech worked me in between appointments I have been wearing this for a week now. If I find my misplaced costly hearing aids, I think I like these far better as I can wear all day without taking out and hear as well as the $3000 pair. I have had rechargeable hearing aids and had issues as I workl and travel often and rechargeable hearing aids don't work for me due as I would run out of a charge and need to instantly hear again. These can be converted to battery in the store by the tech, so I had him due that and also have the rechargable batteries and charger if I ever what to convert back. You can raide and lower volume on the device as well as switch between 4 programs. They have a directional miic and I have only used the noise cancelling mode to direct the mic to the front and block out some background noise. These cost me $1599 total and no sales tax as it is deemed a medical device. That includes a 3 year extened warranty with lost and damage coverage. There is no deductible to repair a defective device within the 3 years, you just take to a Sams. if you lose or damage a device they will replace with a new one for $200 per device. In summary, very hard to beat the price and these may be the best hearing aids I have ever purchased as I do no notice they are in my ear and I am wearing them more than 12 hours a day. You have a 90 day trial and only have to take to a Sams to return. I have already recommended these to several friends and relatives.
