I used to buy these all the time...the ONLY hot dog I'd buy, In the last couple of years within a couple of days of opening the package they developed an "off" taste. At first I thought it was something I did, maybe didn't wrap them tightly enough or something like that, but it continued with several more packages and I'm just done with Fairbury hotdogs...I'll only buy Wimmers now. Fairbury hotdogs went downhill big time when they quit making them locally. I really think they're terrible and wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I even contacted the company about them, but didn't ever hear anything back so I'm not happy with their customer service either. In my opinion, DO NOT buy these unless you plan to eat all of them immediately upon opening the package.
