I really like guiness as a general guideline for dark beer. It's an easy and quick option if I want a stout type and dont want to go searching. I only rated it 3 stars however, because these days there are so many good 'craft' options. Given like 5 years ago, I would have rated it higher, but there are so many other good options now. Still a great old standby!

Like this beer, you can taste the changes in flavor as the temperature changes. You can taste the coffee and chocolate flavors and it is a very thick beer if you are used to Pilsner. If you want to try something that’s delicious but very hard to find go to an Irish bar and ask for a black current shot with Guinness Draught if they have it on draft or you can use a can or bottle of Guinness. It is delicious!

My husband and I love Guinness, we've even been to the Guinness factory on a private tour. This bottle is as good as it gets for a non-draft Guinness option in the USA. Make sure you tilt the bottle to get the foam on top - highly delicious, highly recommended.

The darkest, maltiest, and creamiest stout to ever grace my lips. I truly love the mellow and smoky taste of a fine cold bottle of Guinness- it’s as full bodied and tasty as a glass of fine Cabernet. And it truly goes with anything. If you’re thinking about trying a good stout, you can not go wrong with a bottle of Guinness. Trust me, you’ll be back for more!

I mostly drink craft beer and from local breweries. However it’s always good to have a few readily available favorites. Guinness is that for me. It’s low alcohol, tasty and easy drinking. We also love using it to make Irish car bombs which are delicious.

Hands down, Guinness is the best beer out there, available in America, anyway.  Rich and foamy, very satisfying, it definitely has it's presence.  Poured into a glass, it has a creamy, satisfying head.  When I want to reach for something familiar, I always grab a Guinness.

Rich and malty with a nice velvety texture and hint of chocolate flavor. To be completely honest, I don't drink stouts very often. I have to be in a certain mood/have a craving for a stout. However, when I do get that craving I for sure grab a Guinness. Definitely recommend giving it try if you can!!!

Guinness Draught is the ultimate stout!

Guinness Draught Stout is incredible if you enjoy strong, dark, and thick beers, i.e., stouts. Served chilled, every sip feels like you're at the pub. It has hints of roasted coffee and chocolate, and with an alcohol content of 4.2%, one large can gives you a decent buzz.

I’ve had Guinness straight from the tap in Dublin, and this is as close as you can get in the states to the freshness of the “real” stuff. It’s frothy and smooth and goes down to easily that you’ll forget you’re drinking beer sometimes. I like the idea of the little ball inside to help make the Guinness “head” on the brew. Best poured into a glass, not drank from the bottle.
