Dishonest practices

A few days before Christmas 2019, I went to get two new front tires for my vehicle. I specified to the shop that I wanted to keep my two current rear wheel tires on my vehicle. Within less than a day after picking up my vehicle, I soon realized that the shop had removed my one bad front right tire and placed it on the rear right side of the vehicle. This was one of the two tires that has a slow leak and with which I was having issues for months. Hence, that's why I got new tires. I know that the tire was switched because it previously did not have a silver gray cap on the air valve. After I picked up my vehicle, though, now it has a black cap on the valve. So, now I will have to get a new tire, although the previous tire on the rear right side of my vehicle was fine and it otherwise did not leak.

I'd buy these tires again

I can't give a rating on winter as i have not driven these set of tires during the winter months with snow on the ground. I am however pleased with these set of tires. Some people have said that the tires are noisy. I find it not true in my case. My car handles real well with these set of tires. I feel safe driving on wet pavement as well.

Great tire, great price

Great tires for the price. I actually prefer the Silent Armour in this tire, but with all the road debris in Georgia, I can't afford the Silents every year. I have had more tires totally destroyed in four years in the state of Georgia than I have in 50 years combined, but I always go back to Goodyear. So beware drivers of Georgia roads.

Quiet ride higher cost but worth it in my opinion

I was running "dealer" tires on my Jeep Patriot. As expected they only made it about 25k miles before they wore out. So I checked around for new ones. I wanted something with longer life (50k or so) and of better quality. On Texas concrete my old tires were pretty loud on the concrete, you got that nice Texas growl when you were traveling on it. After putting these on, that has almost gone away. If you listen closely you can still hear it, but you can hear yourself think much better. Very good quality tire, tread pattern is nice, I can tell I'm sticking to the road better in the torrential thunderstorm downpours we get here. Overall I'm very impressed. Time will tell on the treadwear, but I expect I'll get the 60k miles as advertised. They will cost you a bit more, but they look good and ride very well. Quite satisfied to this point.

Goodyear should be ashamed

I'll never buy Goodyear tires again. I thought I was spending a little extra money to get a decent tire, but the Kelly tires I had prior on another car were much better. I've had an alignment and balancing done twice, and these tires still have a lopsided wobble and thud. You can actually see where the tire is defective.

Best tire I've ever had on any car!!

This is the second set of these I've owned. Both have been on a Subaru Forester (2009 & 2013). I wasn't happy with the original tires that came on the care - didn't feel comfortable with them in the winter. The Assurance All Season make a lot of difference with overall ride and comfort.

DO NOT BUY

All four of my tires lasted only 30,000 miles and ALL FOUR tires are worn down and need to be replaced. They were all manufactured at separate times and are all lemons! My mechanics at Tirekingdom cannot explain how they are like this, as I bought the tires from them and get rotations and balances regularly. If you want good reliable tires, do NOT buy these.

Very loud tires

I had Goodyear Assurance comfort tread before I bought the regular Assurance tires and they were great tires. Very quiet. After about 55,000 miles I needed another set so I got a very good deal on the regular Assurance tires and thought they would be similar. They are not. The Assurance tires are the loudest tires I have had in my life. I wouldn't recommend them.

These tires wore out quickly.

These 65,000 mile tires (Goodyear Assurance All-Season) are worn out at 33,000 miles. There is less than 2/32" tread left. I'm disappointed with the tread life. For all the other tires I have purchased over the years, I usually got close to the rated tread life. These tires were not a good value for me.
