Best Tires Ever!

These tires came standard on my Subaru Outback, which I bought new in 2013. After 77,000 miles, they're still in good shape. Have never had a problem. I've rotated them a few times and keep them properly inflated. Great tires. Guess I've gotta break down and buy new ones soon. I wouldn't buy any other tire!

Please with performance but noisy

The ContP[ro Contact came with our 2014 Honda Odyssey when new. We have 45,000 miles on the tires and they are at 2/32. We have been very please with the handling on wet and dry pavement. The only complaint we have is they are noisy I don't know if this is the car problem or the tires. I may replace with the same tire or Michelin MXV4.

Awesome traction when new

Rotated every 10,000 miles (Every oil change for this baby SUV) and the tires wore perfectly evenly. Car currently has 55K miles on it and tires are down to the wear bars. Absolutely awesome traction when new, we drove our Escape down an unplowed road in rural Wisconsin a few winters ago. Snow was higher than the front bumper of the car, and we were throwing it over the windshield at 30-45 MPH. When everything thawed out, we took the Escape down a "minimum maintenance road" in rural Minnesota - and fell through the mud. The muck was up to the axles of the little SUV, but it still managed to pull its way out of the mess with a minimum of fuss (Which went on for a good 2 miles). Note if you try this stunt, be sure to hose out the wheels - parts of the wheels were actually underground for a bit, so they got jammed full of mud and everything shook due to unbalancing the wheels from all the mud and gunk jammed on the inside of the wheel

Good tires but had to replace them 8 months in

I had the tires for 8 months when I hit a pot hole. unfortunately it caused a hold in the side of the front left tire. I took it to tires plus to see if I was covered by my warranty and unfortunately I wasn't. to make matters worse I have a awd car and was told I would need 4 new tires when I only had about 13k miles on them. I ended up getting some coopers and I have had any problems so far. The road nose, comfort, and fuel economy were Excellent. Just poor tread life.

OK for factory tires

These were the factory tires on my 2012 Subaru Outback. I live in WI and have had these tires since I bought the car. I drive about 65 miles/day round trip and they are fairly quiet. They handle nicely in the snow, sleet, ice and rain. I was told that the all-wheel drive feature creates an uneven wear pattern. Nonetheless, I am at 55,200 miles and need to replace them. The tread in the center of the tire is good, but the outer aspect is poor. Not sure if this is the tire, the all wheel drive or an alignment/balance issue. (In defense of the tire manufacturer, I didn't rotate them like I should have.) I have averaged about 28-31 mpg on the highway with these with winter being the lower & summer being the higher.

Exceptional performance and wear!

As Mustangs are notoriously bad in wet and winter weather and as a volunteer firefighter, I needed a tire that would keep the slippage to a minimum and the ContiProContact series did the trick. This is my second set and I have to say, prior to them, I had never purchased tires from any competitor that demonstrated the traction and amazing wear time that these Contis have.

The Best Value in Tires....Continental

I own 4 cars...and all 4 are equipped with Continental tires, Why? Because of their value. Continental tires are not super expensive yet grab the road..are extremely reliable...and have been lasting me many years despite the number of miles on my vehicles. My cars? I own 3 BMWs and a Mini Cooper.....and I love to drive them on the winding country roads where I live. I could spend a little more for tires but wouldn't get any better value.....

Sidewall technology saved me from a crash

ContiProContacts came on my 2018 Civic Sport. Casual driving and treads lasted 40K miles over 7 years with only occasional rotations. HOWEVER, the sidewall technology saved my bacon yesterday. Years ago I slammed into a pothole on the highway and although I didn't crack the wheel I probably caused some tire damage. The other day I noticed a bubble on the sidewall. But I continued to drive and planned to replace the all the tires in a few days as the treads were getting low. However, on the highway at 70MPH the Front Right sidewall blew out. I was able to safely navigate 1/4 mile or so to a safe spot on the shoulder to do a tire change. There was smoke pouring out of the hole BUT the sidewall held up and I didn't ruin my wheel. Based on the experience I decided to put 4 new ContiProContacts on the car. Downsides are I think they are noisy for a Civic (which doesn't have much insulation) and they are not good in snow.

Excellent tire for the money!

I bought these tires after buying a set of Continental Extreme Contact DWS tires for a different vehicle (1998 Grand Prix GTP). I was so impressed with the Extreme contact tires that I am now a Continental customer for life! I would've bought a set of Extreme contact's for this car (2004 Buick Century) but they didn't make the correct size for this vehicle. Even still I was NOT disappointed. These Conti Pro Contact tires have been excellent in the six years that I have owned them. They are a quiet and smooth ride on dry pavement and they perform exceptionally well in rain and snow. Living in Michigan, these tires have seen it all and I highly recommend them. The handling and traction in all road conditions is outstanding! After six years and easily 60,000 miles they are just now getting to the point where they need to be replaced. If we weren't approaching another winter, I could easily get another 5000 to 10000 miles or so out of them.
