trash tires

These tires came on my new 2018 Nissan Sentra that I bought in May 2018. Less than 8 months and 16,000 miles later, they are useless. The dealer says the warranty is void because I never had the wheels aligned. It never felt like they needed alignment. Winter weather in the Poconos means I need to get a full set of new tires now and they won't be Continentals.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of our tires. The new vehicle tire warranty is for 72-months from the date of purchase; however, it excludes product use, (treadwear). As for how the tires have worn, if one side of the tire has more wear than the other, it may point to an alignment issue, driving habits or your rotation interval. If you disagree with your dealer's assessment, your dealer can contact our office to request approval to send the tires in for consideration. Although the new vehicle warranty excludes mileage, if your tires are evenly worn down to 2/32" of tread remaining, with proof of tire rotation every 6,000 miles, we can help you outside the new vehicle tire warranty. The dealer can contact our office Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Est. at 800-847-3349.

Recommend!

I'm at 87,000 miles with these tires and only had to patch one once due to a nail in the tire. They came with my Ford Escape and have been very reliable in NJ weather from the high heat to below zero and snow. I highly recommend them and will be purchasing a new set.

Top tire in this class

I work for a Nissan dealer and they have used this tire as stock on Altima since at least 2005 .As long as they are rotated on these front wheel drive cars 60k tread life is easy. They are a quiet and consistent performing tire .I have them on 2 of my own cars my kids drive and I don't worry .I see these tires every day on a lot of customer cars and don't see anything better. Not the cheapest but you don't but them as often.

They came standard...

On my 2015 Nissan Versa, purchased new, they did hold up to the tread wear so no complaints. Car has 59.5 miles and it is evident they need to be replaced soon. They ran well through the winter of '15 and '16, but during the winter of '17 is when I could tell performance was going down. Prior a few inches of snow wasn't a problem, but plowed roads only the third year. I think they will be okay for about another 5k on one more rotation but no confidence to take them though another winter obviously.

Short treatlife

Came standard on a 2014 Nissan versa...very happy with the daily use of the tire (trip, fuel efficiency, wet behavior, etc but at less than 30 K miles the wear markers are already visible...I guess another max 5000 and the are gone. Really like the tires but will probably opt for another brand next time due to treat life.

Thanks for providing real world feedback regarding our tires. With original equipment tires, we are limited to the design requirements of the vehicle manufacture. This usually means a focus on rolling resistance to help improve average MPG, handling and safety, with little emphasis on overall tread life. We recommend checking out a replacement tire like our TrueContact, with a 60 day customer satisfaction trial, 12 months road hazard, 3 year complimentary road side assistance and a 90,000 mile limited treadwear warranty.

Poor quality tires

These tires came on my 2012 Ford Focus that I bought new. According to Continental website, they are supposed to be rated for 60K miles. I just passed 37K miles and I'm needing to replace them due to the tread being worn down to the wear bars. This tire has also been very noisy at highway speeds for the last 15K miles or so. I would definitely not recommend buying this tire.

Amazing Tire

I bought a set for my 2017 Hyundai Elantra a month after winter started and I never regret it. It's an all season but does amazing in the snow. If there was lighter snow I wouldn't have to shovel. I never got stuck once. I'm actually going to take these off and save them for next winter and put a set I got with the car back on.

Horrible tires, DO NOT BUY

Bought my brand new 2015 VW CC in June 2015. I've had the tires balanced 4 times (so far) due to a constant vibration between 65-80 mph. Dealer recently did an alignment to hopefully get the vibrating to go away, still the same result. These tires are trash.

The tires are covered for the first 12 months/ first 2/32" of treadwear for ride vibration. You can return to the vehicle dealer or visit a local Continental Tire dealer to have the tires inspected for warranty replacement. Warranty: http://j.mp/1JMLSSQ

Tread Life is an Issue

I had these tires mounted on a 2004 Mercedes C240 (really small 4 door sedan). Tires have a 60K mile rating........r u kidding me ? These tires will need to be replaced at 25K and will not make it much past that point. I do not recommend these tires for area where you need snow traction

Thank you for taking the time to preview our tires. If the tires are evenly worn down to 2/32" of tread remaining, with proof of tire rotation every 6,000 miles, the local dealer will be able to process a warranty exchange. Please keep in mind that the treadwear warranty is not a rating of tire life; it is just the terms of the product warranty. Real-world treadwear will vary based on local road conditions, vehicle maintenance and driving habits.

2014 Toyota Sienna

These Tires Hold up well in the Rain, Especially neccessary in the Pacific NW. They are good for a passenger Tire in the Snow, and will get you from point a to point b, they have good travel life. Put about 30K on them and they still have half the tread left.
