I also purchased the #10 can to test it. My teen children could not tell they were not the fresh eggs until I told them.

I purchased these 12/31/2012 for long term storage. Recently I decided to open the pail to make sure the eggs were in mylar bags, and they are not in anything except the pail. Yikes! I decided to have some eggs for breakfast this morning, and my husband and I did not like them. I had added real cheddar cheese, but this was still not enough. We then added some salsa. They are tolerable and fill you up, but not anything to brag about. I guess these will be used mainly for baking. I don't think we could handle eating them very often for breakfast. Need to start sealing it up in mylar bags now.
