I am 61 yrs old and I was able to get it unpacked and set up with no issues. I synced it with my cell phone so it used my cell phone settings to connect to my router. It was just that easy. I had this out of the box, connected to my DVD and surround system and up and running in an hour. I still can't figure out how to get google play store to search or if I can search the web but I will get there. Would have preferred a sleep button on the remote. I don't like having to go through settings to set the sleep timer. Crystal clear picture and sound. Highly recommend!

ref 75PFL5704/F7 Am somthing of a technophile and have had quite a few TVs. Have been wanting to replace my 55" 2010 1080p with something a bit more advanced. Have also had a lot of Philips products over the years (even though this is licensed and made in Mexico). I find the picture very good and at 11 feet away do not need glasses. Figures appear life sized. Is the closest to a theater I've seen. Not sure I appreciate 4k since few media exist. Connecting to the rest of my system has been "interesting" in that the remote control is paultry and lacks a keypad (with over 70 OTA channels, going to a particular one is difficult, is a better remote available ?). Also while the connections are adequate, some are missing and I had to make adapters to connect the audio to my amplifier through the headphone jack - one reason I bought this device was for the headphone jack) - and to connect an older device that had a component (five RCA plugs) output. Composite (single yellow video plug) is limited to 480p. There is also no single button for input selection, it takes multiple keystrokes to change. But these are more annoyances and just dropped on star, am sure as I learn more (bluetooth keyboard maybe ?) the functionality will improve. Just a suggestion but for input and channel selection, page up/page down would be nice. Finally, enen though there is an optical audio output connection, I have not been able to make it work eiter with an RCA adapter or direct connection to my amp. Selecting Digital on the speaker menu does nothing. Am I missing something ?

Terrible tv Save yourself and do not purchase a Phillips smart tv or any tv from Phillips. We had our tv for only 15 months and it was mounted on our wall. Out of nowhere, the tv stopped working and when we called Phillips customer service they pretty much said there was nothing they can do and the 1-year warranty had expired. I am very confused as to how this tv only lasted for only 15 months! I guess they are not making good quality stuff anymore. Please avoid this brand and spend your money elsewhere.

I can't recommend the product unless you just want the tv to work with Two to Three Apps and that's it. First. I got mine in July 2019, They still have not updated hulu app to work properly on my PFL5704 in fact they do not have a lot of apps that work with Andriod Tv's The TV has a problem (a lot like a tablet) for being under powered for what it needs to do.

I'm very disappointed.. The color on the tv is great.. I have had the tv for 2 weeks and I had to get my 21 year old son get it working..we still can't get the wireless headphones to work.. If you get something on Youtube to watch and you would like to use your wireless headphones ..well you will hear what ever is on live tv channel and not on Youtube.. And it took almost 3 days to finely get the volume to work up and down.. And if you are using a cable TV box.. you will need to keep the remote from the cable box. Close by because your new remote does not have any paperwork on how to program. Your old cable box remote. And in order for you to watch Netflix you need to go to your setting's and change what Ever setting you need to watch Netflix or you will see Netflix and hear what ever is on your live tv...yes I have to agree the remote is very cheap..after 2 weeks of having the TV we still can't get everything to work because there is. Very little paperwork on how to setup your TV ... I'm very disappointed in THIS PHILLIPS TV I'm am thinking about returning. This TV BECAUSE I'M TRIED OF TRYING TO GET THIS TV. TO WORK WITH JUST ONE REMOTE. .
