I have spent a lot of my life in Oregon and Washington. Have eaten near 1000 lbs of dungeness crab in the last 30 years. Being in Southern California now I miss it very much. I have done some online orders from a few places including straight from Alaska. This price was pretty low, but I had big hopes. I had just finished a 10# box sent from Seattle frozen that I had gotten a few months ago. So I wanted to give this a try to "save" money. First thing I noticed is this is just pieces. No big deal, all the meat is there. After a good cooking I noticed a slight fishy taste. Not bad, but enough to not like this brand. A few legs where in pre molting so that may have been the issue. I will stick with the more expensive ones as quality is more important than price for me.
