[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although I needed a pro to install this over the range Micro, I'm very happy with the appearance and operation. After watching the workman struggle with taking out the old unit and installing the new one, i would recommend not taking on this job by yourself. Once in place,though, execellent - big improvement over the 17 year old one which was taken out.

Only lasted two years. I have always bought GE products, but never again.

My microwave operates too loudly. Is it safe to continue to use it?

The plastic on the door cracks and their is a large crack on the lower front of the door.

I love my extra rack in the microwave. My kids can re-heat their meals together. So there's arguing over who is going to use the microwave first. It was so easy to install for my 17 year old son. Great job, GE!
