I love my rower and the smooth operation. The only things I would improve is a little more padding in the seat and raising the height of the rower,making it easier to get off of.

It works ok - honestly it isn't the sturdiest thing I've ever been on, and it plays side to side a bit when rowing hard. Not sure I'd buy it again if I were looking for a more serious rower.

I needed an piece of equipment that wouldnt put pressure on the bottom of my foot and this was it. It is very comfortable to sit on and exercise. You determine how hard you pull which is nice.

I am quite pleased with this purchase though maybe costs $50 too much (I paid $399 while the Stamina 1399 Air Rower has a plastic fan housing and a lacking monitor for only $299). It performs nice and smoothly. The mount for the bar is in the correct position (beyond the feet) compared to some other Stamina rowers where the bar is mounted between or right above the feet. I am 5'11" with a 32" inseam and a size 11 shoe. There is plenty of rail for me to extend my legs, especially if I sit toward the front of the seat. The resistance is wind but is as strong as a level 10 on a Concept rower at the gym. However it is not adjustable but I knew that going into this purchase. If you ever used the Concept rower at the gym, you would know that it is always on level 10 so, no big difference. The wind resistance is loud and blows quite a bit of air (I like that). Each stroke sounds like a loud fan but doesn't bother me and is sort of rhythmic :). I am a little worried about how long the vinyl strap will last but so far it doesn't seem to be a problem. The only problem I had was with the position of the pedals...they are mounted too high BUT, I flipped them upside down so that my heels can rest on the floor when driving. When I return and load, my knees are now in the perfect position (or at least the same position as on the gym's concept rower). Also, the display doesn't seem to be counting right. It isn't displaying the timer. I could be using old batteries so will replace those. I would have given this a 5 star rating if it weren't for those 2 things but wow, what a great value! I will give an update in about a month. I intend to use it almost every morning. Updated later same day: I replaced the batteries in the monitor with new ones and now it is working properly. Update 1 mo.: I have been using 4 to 5 days a week. Still going strong. Strap seems to be doing just fine and seat still slides nicely.

I have enjoyed using this product since I received it. It has begun paying off for me in terms of weight loss, but there was one issue. I began noticing a screeching sound when using it and then the seat would brake half way through a row. I took the seat off and noticed the plastic on one of the wheels had worn down. I contacted customer service and am expecting a replacement part soon. I was confused at first because as I had read the manual and adhered to all instructions but then figured things like this are to be expected sometimes. I just hope customer service gets in touch with me soon as I have enjoyed using the machine.
