Clearly the previous reviewer giving 1 star due to the product containing two parabens is not educated in ingredients and is spreading misinformation and fear. Not all parbens are dangerous, just the same as not all plants are toxic.
Had the reviewer done any sort of research they would know that both ethylparaben and methylparabens are safe. The EU is extremely strict on their ingredients, banning many that we allow here in the USA, and the EU has deemed those two safe. Even fear mongering EWG labels ethyl and methyl as being low risk.
Preservatives are necessary. You wouldn't drink from a rotten standing puddle of water due to the bacteria. That's what would happen to an unpreserved product: it would likely become unsafe even before it left the manufacturer, then consumers would be suing over the damage it caused them.
I really wished people would take the time to actually research ingredients before posting junk like that. No, social media and random websites with un-cited sources is not research.
