I use a cooler on a regular basis, but never felt the need to spend so much on a cooler. In the 12 years (at least) that I have put off this purchase, I have probably thrown away more garbage coolers than the cost of one nice cooler. My wife told me to just spend the money on a nice cooler and I'll be honest. I'm glad I did. This Orca cooler looks well made and feels well made. It holds ice for days. I am really impressed with how much better of a cooler this actually is.

Great investment. We've mostly used this cooler to store hot foods so far for outings that require warm food. I used this cooler a few months ago for my son's birthday party and bought about 50-60 Sam's club hot dogs with 7 hours later, the hot dogs that were still left were warm as if we'd just bought them! Mind you, this is with repeated opening and closing of cooler for people to grab a dog. Used once as a cold cooler for drinks at my daughter's game and held up well enough there too but it was only needed for a few hours in that instance. This is something that is great to buy for long time use and will save you money from buying cheap coolers on repeat, only to throw them out. Love this Orca cooler.
