I had a small Epson Work Force printer and needed a printer that could scan and print ledger size paper 11"X17". I did my research and picked Brother printer. It has printed and scanned everything perfectly. It was easy to set up and I like the ink is replaced from the front so you don't have to lift up the top to get at the ink cartridges. I did like the scan interface on my Epson better but I have been able to figure out how to get what I need. I also wish it was available in black. So far it seems really easy on ink.

I just replaced my brother Laser Printer that I had for 10 years. Only needed one repair. I just bought three more Brother printers and one was the MFC-6535DW. Too new to really report about the printer. The menu setup on the LCD on this machine is really logical out of the box without using the instructions. The downloading of the Drivers were not so simple to find on their website and I called to get help and all went well. The printer is quick for the first copy. I bought one Epson printer in this price range and found the unit impossible to use and it was returned. I am only using this brother printer for copying and scanning.

Receipt and Assembly: There was not much assembly required after removing the printer from the box. After removing the tape and plastic on the printer, the next step was the installing the ink cartridges. The instructions state to install the blank ink and then go on to the next step. There wasn`t mention of the color ink. This was a bit confusing, but after installing all the ink cartridges, the printer was ready for printing. The ink installation was an easy process. Syncing the printer to the computers/tablet/phones: Installing the printer to the electronic devices was a simple process and worked easily. Size: The printer is on the large size and needs about a 3 x 3 foot space. Usage:I think this printer is the best I have used. Both the black and white and color quality of the printing is very clear and vibrant. The speed of the printing is extremely quick even when printing two sided documents. It also provides a quiet buzz when the printing is completed, so you don`t have to stand waiting if you have a multipage/two sided document. I was able to easily print from any device (phone, table, computer) with the wireless function. Scanning: The instructions for setting up the scanning function were not as helpful as they could have been. The printer did not set u[ for scanning on the initial install. It required deleting a previous printer/scanner before it would work. Perhaps the instructions could be a bit clearer on setting this up. Once set up, the scanning process is very easy and very efficient. You can scan to multiple locations such as your computer or a cloud drive. Copying: The printer presents copies that look as good as the original document. The buttons and tool screen are very easy to use and user friendly. I haven`t had to look at the instructions since initial setup. The printer has a large screen that will accommodate pages as large as 11 x 17. The apps on the printer are great added features. Some of the features include lightening or darkening the documents. Ink: The printer came with two years of ink which is a great perk. Overall, I couldn`t ask for a better printer.

The Brother MFC-J6535DW is great for small business and functions to exactly what we need. The downfall that we have is that after downloading Windows 11, some of the printers are unable to scan from the machine to the pc. Otherwise everything is great.

We just upgraded to this printer from a MFC-J5920DW, I have no complaints! It's faster with more features, we are a small Office & this printer is perfect. We can scan & print Ledger Size paper which is a must here. The Control Center is great & easy to use & the investment saves ink & money.

The printer was easy to install on all my computers. It also meets my expectation for printing. I don't like that when I switch from legal to ledger paper for the MP tray that it does not automatically detect the size of the paper. I have to enter this information manually. I also have had trouble printing on 4x6 index card from the MP tray. Yet with these irritations I still like this printer.

It is not easy to print from tray 2 or MP tray. When printing from PC, there is no easy choices to choose which tray to print. I have to go to control panel to find the printing preferences to select paper source, in order to print from tray 2 or MP tray. Too troublesome. And, some time it does not work. Very frustrating.

This is my first non HP printer in over 20 years. I'm impressed with the speed, quality, ease of use and incredibly stress free installation process. I am also pleased with the 11 X 17 paper capability and the wifi works flawlessly with my Windows 10 and my wife's Mac. With the Mac, there is no installation at all. Simply connect the printer to your wifi, turn on your Mac and if the Mac is connected to your wifi, you are ready to print. Also, is if very quiet and very fast.

Had problems when I first got it as it would only work intermittently. It actually seemed as if I would open and close the paper tray and it would work, even if I was using the MP tray. Because my wife had phone problems, I replaced my router. Nothing changed. Approximately one month ago my cable company came in installed a new modem as the one I had was outdated. I never had a computer problem, but since that was done the printer works flawlessly. It makes no sense to me, other than replacing the router, so I wouldn't suggest trying to solve a problem by replacing the modem, but that did seem to do the trick for me, even though I don't believe the modem has anything to do with it.

I have been using Laser printers for the last several years. I decided to switch to ink, because I found that toner cartridges were too big a pain--they leak often. It turned out that this ink printer is as fast, if not faster than my laser printers. Easy to set up and easy to use. Don't yet know about reliability and long term cost of ink.
