After months of research, I narrowed my search down to this TV or the LG OLED. While I believe the OLED is probably a little closer to perfect when it comes to the picture quality, this tv is half the price. And believe me, the picture is BEAUTIFUL! Take the time to research different setting options, Samsung offers very little in explaining what all the advanced picture settings actually do or how they should be applied. FYI, I was having a HDCP Unauthorized error message (purple screen) with my Roku Ultra. After lots of frustration and unhelpful tech support, I finally discovered that the UHD Color setting has to be set to "ON". Why it is "OFF" by default is beyond me.
Also, I kind of like the remote. A lot of people seem to be unhappy with it. AND, I LOVE the one connect box. I wall mounted the tv, and with One Connect, only need to have one wire fished down the wall. Now if I want to add or remove a source, I can do it through the One Connect box, and not have to struggle with ever pulling the tv off the wall. With my old tv, I had to get someone to help me remove it from the mount to add a device. This it brilliant in my opinion.
