When my old desk chair died, I was upset, mostly because I was actually sitting in it when the chair part broke off the wheelie part. I ended up tipped over onto my back, pinned in place by gravity, the arms of the chair and four of my six dogs swarming me. The irony is that I literally ordered this chair two hours before that moment.
The chair shipped quickly and when it arrived the delivery company driver was quite attractive- so BONUS! It took me longer to get the parts out of the box than it did for me to assemble it- it was that easy. And I have a pain issue that sometimes renders my hands useless slabs of meat.
The leather is nice and soft and the arms are wide enough apart to handle the reasons I needed a chair that's rated for 400 lbs. I like that the arms are padded as well (last chair had hard plastic arms, so it was uncomfortable when I leaned back in my chair and rested my elbows on the arms while I stroked my chin, deep in thought. How deep could my thoughts have been while my elbows hurt?).
The wheels roll smoothly, even on carpet- which is what my chair is sitting on. The height adjusts easily, which is good, because not only am I fat, I'm short as well (no, no, gentlemen, back off, I am married). I spend many hours in my chair- and not because I'm short and fat, but because I'm a photographer and 80% of our work is done on the computer with RAW files and its all very complex and requires some pie charts and a glossary, so we'll skip that part.
The chair is comfy, it was easy to assemble, it rolls smoothly on carpet, and it fits my largess quite well. I can even pick up one of those swarming dogs, hold it in my arms and spin around like a James Bond villain. Fun for the whole family!
