I'm happy with my 58" VIZIO Smart TV

There were a lot of great bargains around in December. I did my homework and I feel this TV was the best value overall. Like most TVs these days, I wasn't knocked out by the sound, and purchased a VIZIO soundbar 5.1 system, and the combination is unbeatable, for the total investment I made.

Great smart tv

Great updated tv from the 60 inch e-series one I bought 6 years ago! Great picture quality and refresh rate. Sound is very clear. Only complaints I have are I wish I could delete some of the apps that are pre-installed as I don't even use half of them or have never heard of...42 apps is lot! Second thing is it does a bunch of buffering unless it is hard linked to my modem if I want to stream in 4k. (My modem is 10 feet from the tv and I'm the only one who uses it) But overall those 2 things don't bother me as the tv is amazing and crushes any complaints I may have!!!

Major Disappointment

I've had my 32inch Vizio for over 10 years and it works great! I purchased this brand when I needed a bigger tv with super high hopes. It crashes at least 2-3 times a week and the apps don't work sometimes. I'm over it. I gave 2 stars, cause when it does work, I love it! Definitely regret this purchase. I unfortunately don't think I'll be buying from this brand in the future.

nice picture

OK, I will 'focus on the product'. Lots of guidelines for a customer to give a review...I bought a 70" and was concerned the width of the legs would fit. I asked and they said 48" from several sources. when I put the legs on, the width from center of the legs were 48", but the feet of the legs protruded another 3" out. this made it 54" which made it too long for the tv stand.

Far From the Tree

I have owned Vizio Tvs in the past with great satisfaction. It is not so with this one. Limited app selection, no web browser capabilities, sound and picture signal often requires unplugging when switching between inputs due to loss sound and picture. Remote is not programmable for use in place of cable remote. Lastly, I just put it up though I purchased it a few months ago, so no return option. This apple has fallen far from the tree.

Hello NT2NICE808, This TV uses our SmartCast Platform which offers a host of built in apps, as well as support for Google's Chromecast, Apple's AirPlay 2, and voice support for SIRI, Google Home, and Alexa. You are not able to manually download additional apps, however new apps are added to the platform often. If you find there is an app you want to watch that is not on SmartCast you may be able to cast it using Chromecast or Apple AirPlay from your phone or mobile device. While the TV remote cannot be programmed as a universal remote, typically the remote from your cable provider is programmable. Great TV

I recently bought 3 Fire Tv's. I absolutely hate them. All 3 are cheaply made porr picture Quality. First time ever not buying a Vizio. Well changed them to VIZIO. Best thing I did. Vizio makes the best Tv's, I will never buy or own anything else but a Vizio. GOOD WORK VIZIO.

Beautfiul Picture

This is the best thing I have every purchased!!! it has a beautiful picture , and the sound is awesome and I don't surround sound just the speakers on the tv, the next best deal was the price point it was a fair price I did not realize it was 4k until I plug it in (I know right) so the only thing left to say is "THANK YOU"

Screen size

I have 65” but only get 55” on Dtv. Unless I zoom and then menu and channels get chopped off at top.. Visio rep blames Dtv which is only passing the buck.. only have 65” if watch in-tv programmed channel, example Netflix.. very misleading and u really don't have to other than to make customer feel cheated.... recommend only with screen knowledge

Really good features

I bought this tv after looking over many comps. For the price, features, price and quality it was a win win. The only complaint I have is that Vizio smartcast does not allow you to add apps that are not pre-loaded I their catalog. I have a Roku do its not an issue that I can't get them at all but it's literally 4 apps that I use that Smart cast does not have. Plus it's strange that Smartcast has disney+ and hulu but not ESPN and ABC but all are owned by Disney.

Randomly turns on, then randomly won't turn on

The color and picture are both great. The TV is slow to boot up when turning on. My biggest complaint is the TV won't turn on most of the time. I have to unplug the TV power cord and wait then plug it back on. This is super inconvenient. I called vizio about it not turning on and this was their solution. Also, TV randomly turns itself on. we've had the TV 7 months and started doing this early on.
