Picture not so good

I own a 13 year old 55" Sony. I wanted to replace it in living room with a 65". So I bought this Vizio. Well, my Sony has a seriously better picture. The Vizio is washed out with blurred edges on everything, where as the Sony is bright and vivid. Vizio could not help me with any settings. I am really disappointed. How can a 13 year old TV with no modern features have a superior picture?

At VIZIO we pride ourselves on our highly rated picture quality. To make sure you’re getting the most out of your VIZIO TV, we’d recommend making sure your devices are connected with an HDMI cable, and are set to broadcast in 4K (2160p) or Full HD (1080p). You can also individually adjust your picture settings in the menu. For brighter rooms, try using the ‘VIVID’ picture mode for a brighter, more colorful image. Another good way to see the full capabilities of the TV would be to search for "4K HDR" in the YouTube app. As long as your network connection is able to support speeds needed for 4K HDR content, there are some amazing looking videos. If you’d like any assistance adjusting these settings, our customer support team would love to help you dial in the TV to your preference, you can reach them at 844-254-8087.

Great picture and responsive apps!

We bought this TV about a month ago and are very happy with it. The picture quality is great, it has all the media apps we love built in such as YouTube TV, Netflix, Hulu, and more. When I am working I use the built in Apple Air to extend my screen, and we use our Google home to cast to the built in Chromecast.

Missing some basics

Wish I had researched a little more before I bought. TV will not turn on if you do not have internet. Is limited in the apps you can use, for example Disney+ was just made available last month. Lots of apps I want are simply unavailable. Price was ok, picture is good when it works. Also sometimes it will shut off and I have to plug/unplug the power cord to get it working again.

Some issues

Great TV, however their seems to be issues with connectivity with outside sources such as USB and Chrome cast. The TV will "lock up" or freeze and we have to unplug the set to get it working again. Sound and picture are very nice though and it is very user friendly.

This TV uses our SmartCast Platform which offers a host of built-in apps, as well as support for Google's Chromecast, Apple's AirPlay 2, and voice support for SIRI, Google Home, and Alexa. This could help explain issues with attaching a second Chromecast device. I would recommend to use the built-in casting. In regards to the USB connections, we want to make sure that the USB drive is formatted to FAT32 and has only supported file types, typically JPEG and MP3, loaded on it. Perfect TV for the Perfect Price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this TV for the price. I think the consumer really comes out ahead with this one. Its not perfect, but I can live with its tiny imperfections given the price point. The Black Colors are deep enough and there is some yellowing with flesh tones occasionally that I have noticed, but not enough to take away from the watching experience, or enough to feel that a complaint is warranted. I love this TV and would purchase it again in the future.

Love Vizio very reliable very sturdy

Mostly satisfied

This tv has a good picture and was easy to set up. I only have 2 complaints. The sound is not very loud. I would really love a sound bar but also hate that I bought a tv that almost needs one. The other thing is my Spotify does not connect to this tv properly. It only plays one song then stops. Don't have this issue on any other device and not sure why it's an issue on this. For the money though I'm glad I got it.

Love Vizio!!

I am a big fan of VIZIO, this is the 5th one that I have purchased VIZIO tvs over the past 10 yrs. I have nothing but VIZIO tvs in my home. I love the quality and the features. This last one is my first smart tv and I absolutely love it! I highly recommend VIZIO tvs.

Huge screen. - Perfect Picture

I bought my tv 2 days ago. It is by far the largest screen I have ever owned. It has a beautiful picture, extremely defined detail. I am glad I decided to buy it. The only down side is that I use FrndlyTV and I wished there was a way to add it to my list of apps. Maybe there is, I am still investigating my options on if I can and how to add it. The tv is by far and excellent tv, I look forward to watching it.

Great TV's!!!!

I've owned VIZIO TV's in the past and never had any problems with I decided to update all my TV's in the house and went with VIZIO V and D- series in all the room's after doing some research on what I wanted to purchase. I couldn't be happier with my purchases.
