Not impressed

I bought this for my son for Christmas 2020 and it's April and half the screen is pixelated. What a pain! I hope the tv is replaced. As far as the quality of the picture I'm surprised it's always been a cloudy screen. I bought a Roku tv at the same time for my daughter and the picture is crystal clear and no issues , so far.

would have loved it if all the features worked

i originally bought this online. the smart features didn't always work and it had sound issues so i swapped it out with another of the exact same model from my local store. 2nd one had more issues with the sound and smart features. within a week the only way it would work was by unplugging the tv and starting over. so i returned to the store and got a 3rd of the same model hoping that it would work. i wanted it to work. 3rd was a disaster too. i wanted to love this tv. i gave it 3 chances. when it worked properly it was great. but that was rare and brief. based on my experience i'm not sure how this could be so highly rated. i feel like there isn't any quality control department at vizio. they just pump them out and hope for the best. not a great experience.

All good except wouldn't play USB movies

I bought it specifically to play movies from a flash drive connected to the USB port, which the specs and user manual say it can do. I wanted to use it for our travel trailer, so the grandkids can watch movies after a day of camping fun. I have over 100 movies on the drive. The first time I played a movie it worked great. After that it just said something like "video format not supported", even when I tried to play the same movie again! Then the tv would freeze up -- I couldn't change inputs or even shut it off. I had to disconnect the power cord. Every time I reconnected and tried again, the same thing happened. Not good when 5 small grandkids are all excited to watch WALL-E. At home I have a 6 year old Magnavox and a 4 year old VIZIO (yes the same brand - almost identical but a larger screen.) Neither of those has a problem playing the movies on the flash drive. I don't know if the problem is the newer model or I just got a lemon. I returned it. All other functions worked fine, the picture was great, the TV was very light so mounting on the wall of the trailer was no problem. Just that dumb USB issue.
