[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had the mower around about two months now. Far quieter than the gas mower that we had and does a good job cutting through the yard.
The battery charger is a touch loud due to the fan (not upset because it's charging a large batter - this is a 60V battery here - and the fan is helping with cooling, but worth a mention). However that cuts off once the battery is full.
The battery, while mowing, will allow you to check the charge - which fantastic.
Mower itself is easy to handle and I love that the height of the handles can be adjusted. Let's face it, the hubby is taller than I am, but this is comfortable for both of us to use. This isn’t a self-propelled mower and that’s totally fine - zero issues with needing to move it. Easy to push, like that it has a light on the front - sometimes mowing after work means that it's starting to get dark.
We sit on about a half an acre and we're easily able to mow the back yard on a partial battery charge, no issue there. Deck moves up and down with ease - I do wish it went a hair lower, but that's my desire to mow the yard less and the fact that I have small dogs with short legs and long hair.
A comment about the bagging system - I actually REALLY like this design. With our gas mower, I was highly likely to drop grass clippings while emptying the bag. With this mower, due to the way that the bag connects, far less likely to happen. For the flip side of that, I do wish the chute would actually connect to the handles so that it’s easy to find during storage. And I say that as someone who has lost a chute in the past and had to replace it.
Can’t give a comment on long term usage yet, but performance has been solid for when we have used it and we’d be happy to recommend to others.
