I didn't realize it until trying this body wash, but I've been on a 15-year hunt for our family's go-to body wash. I hope this long review helps end your hunt, too!
My kids and I have dry skin. My kids' skin is also very sensitive and eczema-prone. After using this body wash just once, I insisted they try it. My skin feels like skin—like I imagine it should, clean and dry yet moisturized. My skin doesn't cross my mind multiple times a day because it's itchy or tight or greasy and slick.
It's a little expensive, like all Cetaphil products imo, but worth it when I consider…
—No more hydrocortisone ($) on the kids' nightstands.
—No more money wasted trying to find a body wash that works great and won't irritate.
—Comparable to Bath&Body Works price-wise with much better results
—Much cheaper than Neosporin Essentials body wash and eczema lotion (the only other product we found that worked so great. Before it was discontinued, it was really hard to find and like 15 bucks a pop for a 10oz bottle. I would only hunt it down when the kids had a flare-up.)
—No more decision fatigue, reading labels, comparing endless choices, or partially-used bottles taking up space in the cabinet.
My only complaint is it's not quite “soapy” enough for my preferences, so I use 2-3 pumps of the Cetaphil and 1 pump of Caress (both always in stock at my Sam's!).
