These are great shelves: easy to configure shelves at different heights, easy to build without any tools, they come with either adjustable feet or wheels with two that lock. Do wear gloves because as with all metal shelving you may end up with a metal splinter.

Could I get 5 more? Had read the feedback and was a little concerned. All the cartons at my local Sam's had damage. The one I purchased had been dragged and it wore through the carton and 'filed' one of the shelfs ehere the upright goes through. A little file work, 2 to 3 minutes and it was fine. Just put that corner to the rear.

The key is build the just the first three shelves. Then you bring out the step stool to extend the height and put on the last three shelves. It much simpler. I was pleasantly surprised by how well everything was packaged. Each shelf had round plastic protectors where it slides onto the side rails, and the corners were protected with thick plastic guards. Everything arrived in perfect condition. I already own two of these shelving units that are about 25 years old, and they're still in excellent condition. That gave me confidence to buy another one. I also love that the new version includes shelf liners—a nice improvement over the older models. Assembly was very easy, even for a 5'3" woman. They are insanely strong and I love that they are on wheels because they can be easily moved around. You don't have to go crazy trying to find a spot where they need to live permanently. If you do happen to overload the shelves and need new wheels you can contact Seville and order exactly the right wheels for your shelves. (I won't tell you how I know that.) I have assembled so many sets of these that I no longer have to look at the directions. 14/10 would recommend.

Also, during assembly, I found it easier to attach the wheels/leveling feet to the bottom poles, slide the first three shelves on, attach the top poles and then slide on the other three shelves.

I inspected mine before buying and didn't see anything but a spot that the cardboard looked compressed. Two of the shelves had corners that were oval instead of round due to it being dropped or hit by something. If this happens then you have to take the whole shelf back into the store to get it replaced. The box is very heavy so this is hard to do. I recommend looking at it when you are still in the parking lot that way you can take it right back in. I wanted to just swap 2 shelves for 2 shelves but they will not do this, you have to return the whole thing. Otherwise they are great shelves and it was actually packed very well, not sure how it could have possibly been bent but...

One of the shelves was bent but I was able to make it usable after a little weight and a 3 lb sledge. I'll be glad to get this thing up to 6 ft like i wanted in the first place. Im not sure if i want to order any more after seeing how beat up the box was and how bent up the shelf was.. Mulling it over.Lonnie

Two of the shelves were damaged to the point that when trying to put them together, they would not fit well. I am an hour away from the store so it’s not worth it for me to take it back. This is the reason for the two stars because of the damage. The box did not seem to be damaged so it has happened at the factory I’m assuming.

Then I proceeded to assemble it again only to find an upper leg was defective. Way too frustrating even though the shelves appear heavy duty. At this rate , I may never know. Because of receiving 2 defective parts, I would not recommend this unless you have plenty of time to wait for replacements.
