I've used this brand for a few years and have been happy with it until recently. They've changed something, it pills up, rips apart very easily, is definitely not the same as I've been purchasing. Since approximately October 2025, the quality is just unacceptable. won't be buying again.

Changed from past, rough now!

They changed this paper. It is now rough right out oh bag. It was never like this! I have used this to for years!!! I am so disappointed and I will not buy again. I will also try to take back to Sam's and return, horrible move Sam's. You can literally see the weave now looks like a paper towel… and unfortunately feels like one too! It was always soft, now rough. Do not buy!!!

Better than name brand

Actually holds up better than my usual brand and is so much cheaper. Soft and strong. I have used Charmin for years but the price has gone up so much and my husband is going to retire so we will be on a fixed income. Gotta cut back where I can and Member's Mark helps do that without having to give up quality. Their paper towels and toilet paper will now be my go to for both.

so when I first started shopping at Sam's club I remember the toilet paper being four rolls across now it is only 3 across . but I am paying almost double for the toilet paper and the rolls are smaller what's going on Sam's you're not really making it worth the membership here.

quality has gone down!

I don't know what happened to this toilet paper but the quality has gone down. the toilet paper is extremely rough like sandpaper and has caused severe irritation to the point of a medical problem. I do not recommend this product and will be buying other toilet paper from now on. it's a shame because I've been using this toilet paper for the last 10 years. you have lost me as a customer.

Quality decreased dramatically recently

Just in the final quarter of 2025 my family noticed MM changed their supplier or something. The cost of MM TP increased and the paper got thinner and tears quite easily. My family of 6 is flying thru this TP fast enough that I won't be purchasing again. I feel like we are changing the roll in our master about every other day. We collect our house garbage weekly, and at last collection THREE empty rolls were in the trash can for our master bath (no kids use our bathroom). Wild. I am bummed to have to shop another product.

I've been a loyal Sams Club Member for 10 years for my family of 5! Recently I have noticed the softness and quality of this toilet paper has gone down! So much that I have been looking for an alternative. This is incredibly disappointing considering the cost of the toilet paper has gone up AND the price of the membership has gone up! Its more cost effective to use coupons for Brand Name! Unfortunately I will not be renewing my membership when the time comes.

I have purchased for about 5 years now and as others have mentioned, noticed a recent decrease in quality. i didn't notice as much in the last year, but just got a new package and noticed a marked difference in this new package. not as thick and seemed to tear easier. I am going to switch back to my old brand for my next order.

Members Mark is slipping

Been using this product for at least last 5 years. Been noticing a decline in softness lately but the cost was just too good. Just bought a new pack and it's complete trash. Might as well be super fine sand paper. Can literally choose any other brand in store for better quality.

Quality tanked 11/2025

We've been buying Sam's TP for more than 10 years. It used to be a great balance between strength and softness. As of November 2025, the quality has plunged off of a cliff. It's now much thinner, and much more rough. If your club still has some of the higher quality TP left, stock up while you can. The new stuff sucks.
