This IS a big pool & the ground must be properly prepared, so a month later it is up and running and I am extremely happy! I installed this pool all by myself (60+ woman) including the sun sail shade posts and canopy!! I've always had a pool & I am familiar w/ industry standards I.e. Hayward and the filter/pump system that comes w/ the pool is acceptable although it will probably be replaced in the future. The items I immediately added were an Intex salt water chlorinator (the BIG one > 12,000 gal), an Intex pool skimmer that attaches to on of the out hoses & a zinc diode to ward off any damage the chlorinator could do to the pool steel, & an automated pool cleaner.

I purchased this pool in May and just got the site ready to set up the pool. When we took the liner out of the packaging there was a puncture on the very top which happened to be the bottom of the pool. Who would I contact about the puncture right out of the package. I can't fill the pool with the hole in the bottom.

first pool had holes in liner. delt with the overseas sams call center. returned first one bought a second one had to wait a month to get refund but since its been up we use it everyday.

I actually love this pool but a storm blew it over when I emptied it and 3 rails are bent at the connector. Seems like an easy fix right? NO, They don't make these poles anymore per the email correspondence with their customer service. I don't want to buy another pool I just want to buy the replacement rails!! Why did they have to change the rails size? Its called previous generation models. So disappointed in this ending.

Pool quality is nice the pool itself. Pool filter is junk very cheep the switcher valve isn't any good all it does is drain

Nice size and sturdy... but HORRIBLE design. 1. No cut-off for the 2 hose portals that go to the pump; "plugs" come with the setup, but you have to remove the interior plastic filtering caps to put them in place (which are actually kept in place with tiny screws!), and the plugs easily fall out when the filter is turned off... so you end up draining your pool until you can get them in place again (get in the pool, get them off the bottom, put them back in place, get out of the pool again and try to finish whatever you were doing, such as emptying the filter basket or removing the filter balls for cleaning). 2. Hose adapters that screw on to the interior portals leading to the pump are a pain to use. You must screw them on before attaching your hose for the vacuum, etc., or else you are fighting against your hose in the attempt to screw them on (definitely can't do this if the hose is attached to your skimmer). And once you get the adapter on and the vacuum hose is attached, you have to struggle to get the hose off when you want to remove the adapter. A simpler attachment system is needed. Also, when you do any of this while the pump is running, the suction adds to the frustration factor. 3. The floor is attached to the side walls with the overlapping seam on the inside facing up... which means that the excess floor material is on the inside of the pool, thus creating a 1" v-shaped channel facing upwards where debris collects. This means that you can never get the pool clean... as soon as you go around with a brush and try to get all the gunk out of that seam overlap, whatever stuff has floated up against the wall just glides back down against the wall and settles into that seam overlap. Whoever designed this has never had to clean their own pool. 4. You have to take the filter housing completely apart if you want to clean the polysphere filter balls. There is one main 2-piece retaining ring that holds the lid of the filter onto the main body. This ring is held in place with 2 small bolts... you must completely remove the bolts and separate the 2 sections of the retaining ring to access the interior of the filter. The nuts for the 2 bolts are tiny, and easily fall out of their little recessed spaces. When I first set up the filter, I lost one of the nuts in the grass and had to make a special trip to the hardware store just to buy a 10-pack of the right size nuts. A simpler hinged clamp system would make much more sense... this 2-part retaining ring is insanely stupid and not at all practical. I enjoy my pool, which I purchased in 2025. However, Bestway needs to do a complete re-design with an eye towards making upkeep, maintenance, filter cleaning, etc. much simpler for the consumer. Proper shut-offs, a simple clamp-on system for the filter housing, floor seam channel on the exterior instead of interior, and more user-friendly systems for attaching / detaching vacuum hoses, etc.

I’m giving this product a 3 because we got the entire 22’ pool assembled and when we started to assemble the pump, we realized that the pump flex hose had a flange that was put onto the hose backwards with the threads facing away from the end of the hose. It is not possible to remove them as they come pre-assembled and there is no way to use the hose at all. We will need to go to our local pool supply to see if they can provide a hose that will work with the pump that came with this pool. If they can’t, we’ll have to buy another pump so we can get our pool up and running. It will probably take forever to get a replacement hose from the company and we want to use the pool.

We bought this and I ignored all the negative reviews about liner having mico holes. My mistake. Set this pool up exactly as directed and now there are so many pin holes throughout liner especially on bottom where bottom liner and side meet. Took 3 days to fill up. Excited figured the water around pool was from hose falling out a few times.4th day go out and water is down an entire foot and looks like a pool around pool. Found about 8 tiny holes around top and patched but still water was coming out and realized its all around seam where walls meet bottom. Now we have 300 dollars worth of water in pool and flooded yard. Idk what to do at this point. Other then all the holes, the pool looks great and pump is awesome. Help. What do I do about liner?

I love the pool but just to inform you the top rail rotted and broke. Good thing no one was in it I live in Florida and realize salt air doesn't help. Only 2 yrs old. I want a new one to replace it but hard to find

I am tired because the installation of this pool is exhausting. The white things continuously stick to the inside of the poles, and most of it seems designed to fall apart.
