Its perfect for my make-up vanity. On the small side for tools maybe, but great for my brushes, cosmetics, chap sticks. I have some perfume on top. Im going to purchase another for my informal writing desk. To hold binder clips, tape, post its & pens. I think its fun that it comes in many colors. I could see it for jewlery too, although the drawers could use some liner. I dont open and close the drawers often, so for me the metal on metal isnt an issue. For the price, i love it!

I replaced a rainbow $30 plasting rolling cart feom Michael's. The blue looks less gray than the picture. I bought both and am considering getting another set.

I doubt you can find a nicer little toolbox for the money. Just be sure to check the listed dimensions before ordering and maybe lay out items you expect to store in it to be sure they'll fit. The drawers measure 5" x 9". The top two are 1" deep, the bottom drawer is 2" deep. The top tray is 10.5 x 5.5" and about 1.5" deep not counting head room from the lid. Picking nits, the drawers are not removable. You'll probably want to purchase some toolbox liner to prevent items from slipping and sliding around in the compartments. Don't expect roller bearings on the drawers, they're not designed to hold those kinds of loads. I did find using some spray silicone lubricant on the slides allows them to work more smoothly.

The price was great and the size was just what I was hoping to use for my model-making tools. (This box is SMALL) However the quality isn't what I was hoping for. The drawers slides are metal on metal so they hang up regularly. And the paint is chipping slightly with no more use than loading it up with small tools. It also didn't come with any mats for the drawers as similar products do. HOWEVER, this is only a fraction of the cost of those similar products, so I am going to live with it.

Thought these were going to be a nice addition but they were not. They look nice but the drawers have no slides. They run on painted metal and do not open and close easily or straight. One of mine were returned previously and looked as if they tried to grease the rails and realized it would not work. Returned item.
