Goodyear Assurance MaxLife - 235/40R19/XL 96V Tire

Replaced original vehicle tires before winter. Haven't had much snow, but they feel secure on the road. I'm an aggressive driver in good weather and a whimp in bad. Purchased with 6 months free financing.

great ride

I had the Assurance tire the last time I bought tires, I got over 60,000 miles on them. Those previous tires were excellent on the highway, I drive over 3,000 miles per month. I also live in Central New York and we have our share of ice and snow and my former set of Goodyear Assurance tires NEVER let me down in the winter. My 2011 Subaru Outback was able to climb out of my steep driveway everyday without fail. This new set of tires is a complete disappointment and I have been left stranded TWICE in the past 10 days because of this tire's terrible traction. Tuesday night was spent in my car in 15 degree weather because of my inability to traverse any of our local roads. These tires are a complete letdown, especially because my last set of Goodyear Assurance tires were awesome.

Terrible on ice and snow

I've had these tires about a month and they are amazing, so responsive that I had to call the installer to ask about them. It took me awhile to get use to the unbelievable responsiveness. I used them in the rain as well, may as well have been no rain the way these tires handled it. They are still quiet, so no noise issues for me. They are worth every penny!
