When I tried to use the gift cards to pay, the clerk attempted to slide them and manually enter the card numbers, but they would not go through. The clerk informed me that the cards had not been properly activated when I purchased them at Sam's Club. It was incredibly embarrassing to be standing there holding up the long line of other families while this was happening. I felt so humiliated and frustrated, especially in front of my children who were counting on this special time.
