Unreliable and frustrating

I was frustrated enough to come here and write a one star review, and I never do that. The user interface on this tv is just super sluggish and counterintuitive. The menu is extremely layered (needlessly) instead of simple, and it makes troubleshooting anything SUCH a slow, frustrating process. Beyond that, it’s incapable of running Spotify (for whatever unknown reason). I had to call their support line to get that news. Even though some of the help menu’s shows Spotify as an example of an app you can download. Not sure what the thinking behind that was, but this TV is full of weird, mind-boggling things like that. The TV also won’t open Netflix or Hulu about 30% of the time, and displays an error message. A problem which usually lasts for hours, despite restarting it. The last issue I’m facing with it, is that when I use the YouTube app, the TV skips every video I try to play after 15 seconds. This happens consistently despite troubleshooting. It gets 15 seconds in and then automatically plays the next suggested video. Would definitely recommend a different model, or an alternative like Chromecast/Roku/Firestick.

It’s a SAMSUNG! Top of the line!

First off you can’t beat a Samsung TV, this is my third but first LED. My other two are Plasma TV’s. We purchased this Smart TV at Sams Club for my daughters room. It’s loaded, built in WiFi, smart hub with streaming apps(Hulu, Netflix, etc.). Only a couple days in use so far but we know we got a good one because Samsung TV’s are legit, my oldest is about 12 years old and still going strong! Not to mention it was a very gently used floor model for half the price, so that was the icing on the cake for us. Hope this helps, we’re super happy with this purchase.

Buy another model

I purchased this TV for almost twice the $US price because of where I live. I had a Samsung MU6290 4K UHD TV before this and I loved it. Unfortunately, it broke in the move and the store didn't have the same model, so I purchased this one. I disliked it from the moment I plugged it in. It's so slow, sound quality is terrible, picture is less than great. After turning on, you can't use any features because its "preparing the TV" for like 10 minutes. Ten. Minutes. I have to wait 10 minutes to be able to open Netflix, then another 10 minutes waiting for Netflix to load. Its just frustrating.

Not a Smart TV

This is not a "smart tv" by any means. You will become frustrated trying to use the "smart tv" features. It takes forever to load and there is a lot of blank screen using their youtube feature. Prepare to invest in a streaming device if you decide to keep it. The TV will also play both the smart hub and streaming device if you do not close the app from the TV.

Nice for the price

I bought the new tv because there were issues with the sound on my Vizio. Just got it set up yesterday. The first thing I noticed was that the Vizio had better picture quality. So far, day 2, the Samsung has good sound and good HD. Haven’t tried the Smart features yet. I don’t like that I have to switch to tv button on my Dish remote to adjust the sound and mute function. I didn’t with the Vizio.

Terrible TV

honestly, i will never buy another samsung tv. it takes forever to load up; you cannot cast to it without paying for an app. you cannot update the hulu app. i am not sure if all samsung tv's are like this, but this particular tv is awful if you want to do anything other than watch netflix or amazon prime on it. i plan to only purchase vizio after experiencing this tv. i am not one to write negative reviews, but i have also never hated a tv as much as i hate this one. :(

No ARC

Great pic but has no way to hook an ARC cable in.....soooo upset! Just bought a Sonos Beam with surround sound and I can't use Alexa....why the heck would Samsung not have ARC on this tv....so mad....I would return the tv but I attached a swivel stand to the tv and it was a pain to put on.....uuugh. so disappointed in Samsung.

not what they say

This TV is horribly slow. My VIZIO starts right up and is immediately connected to the internet and netflix. This tv takes almost 5 minutes once it comes on to connect to the internet then you have to wait on netflix... There is no easy way to get to netflix. you have to push several buttons. I have had it for a week and HATE IT it is going back.

The picture is great, but the sound on the TV did not get fixed properly. The sound fluctuates and sometimes causes voices to be lost and sound to be staccato.

Set up 43” Samsung tv. Etc.

Not used to this type of tv. Will need some help adjusting to this product. Dish did the set up but did not hook up the DVD player. Getting another HDMI cord to set up. Fingers crossed.
