My wife bought this on a family vacation, after we all got sunburns at the beach. It was on a shelf alongside moisturizing lotions, labeled “Deep moisture: Nourishes the driest skin”. So we put it on our burns and all felt worse. And worse. We realized sonething was wrong, and only then noticed the tiny lettering at the bottom, almost obscured by the background: “Body wash”. Soap? What’s next? Hemorrhoid cream in a Colgate tube? We can’t be the only people who have made this mistake. You should recall this or send out stickers to properly label all the product that’s out there. Whoever designed this packaging had one job sbd they screwed it up.

After using Dove Deep Moisture body wash for a week, I noticed my skin feeling much softer. The smell was delightful and I love how my skin felt hours after showering. Normally, my skin feels dry shortly after showering, however, not with Dove. I will continue using this product and recommend it to anyone that wants softer feeling skin.

I’ve been using Dove body wash exclusively for almost a decade, I used to alternate between Deep Moisture and the Cucumber one during the summer, but a year or two ago the Cucumber one changed formulas and I wasn’t crazy about it. But I can always count on Deep Moisture, right? I’ve been using Deep Moisture ONLY since then. Recently I picked up a new bottle and I noticed the packaging changed slightly but didn’t realize until I started using it that it had the red “new” label on it. It lathers fine, but my skin doesn’t feel as moisturized (especially on areas that I can’t reach to apply lotion, like my upper back). Not to mention it smells like a lighter version of nail polish remover! Dove, ever heard the phrase “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”? It’s just super unbelievable that you had such a fantastic, tried and true product bringing in loyal buyers and you’d just turn around and change it. I don’t want to look for a new body wash or switch from Dove as it’s all I’ve used in the shower for so long but I don’t think I have much choice. Especially since the old scent was so light and clean and it actually left your skin soft and smooth, it’s just disappointing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a shame this smells so bad. It’s very rich and makes your skin feel very soft and smooth. It smells like cheap air freshener or the deodorizer they use in port-o-potties!. Sadly I can’t use it because of this. I wish it came unscented.

This product is so thick that it just sits on my skin even when I try to rub it in. I just bought it last weekend and three times this week I've gotten out of the shower to find white streaks of it sitting on my skin. My skin feels so dry it's clearly not being absorbed. This is definitely going in the trash.

I was very surprised by how thick it was. I felt confident in the fact that I was not only cleansing my skin but moisturizing it as well. I was able to skip applying lotion after the shower. I also love the clean scent it left on my skin after the shower as most body washes don't leave a scent after the shower. I was very pleased with this product and happy that I did not need a large amount to wash my entire body. Great product!

I just purchased this Dove product. First off - the smell. It's awful! I had to re-wash with my usual cheaper brand with a nicer fragrance. Next I got no feeling of softer skin what so ever! Not sure what it's supposed to be like but I won't use ever again.
