I am a college student and bought this for my upcoming statistics class. I bought it for three reasons, one it was on sale, two it was in color and three you could use pictures to help graph your equations. I thought cool, it will help me better understand it if I can see it in different colors and use images. So as I started playing with it I realized that those features actually hindered me. I did not like the screen. It made it seem like a computer screen. Also the whole thing with the images and how to use them was confusing. Even after watching a video on how to do it, it still didn't help me. Needless to say I returned it for the original TI-84 Plus. The screen is better and it's faster. You can see a pause in giving you the answer with the color one. Was irritating.

This calculator is great - with this calculator I am able to actually get through my statistics class and there are so many tutorials on how to do functions on this calculator that if you get lost on the way it is easy for you to figure it out how to do whatever you were doing in minutes. I would recommend this product to anyone who has a need for a graphing calculator. The only bad thing is that it was a bit more expensive than the other calculators, like the Casio and everything but there are not many tutorials out there for that type of calculator, so if you need a graphing calculator I would say go with this one.

TI cornered the education textbook market in the 1980s and now extorts students and parents for their graphing calculators. If your school doesn't require this specific brand like ours does, you can get newer, more capable graphic calculators from other manufacturers.

This is the calculator that college students need for College Alg, Stats and a couple other classes. It's a good price and ordering it online is effortless. It takes about 5 days to arrive. So, if you can wait a few days, they'll bring it right to your front door. Beats standing in line!

this was a gift for my granddaughter who is a Junior in high school, she is taking A P Calculus and A P physics next year and this calculator is perfect for her needs and she also enjoys the color display She is a member of Math Honor Society so she is a very discerning user!

I bought this calculator for college and its honestly the best thing ive bought its easy to use and its a very good calculator ive used it so many times and ive hadnt had to charge it yet so the battery life is very good!! Would recommend to anyone who needs a calulator!!

THis calculator has by far surpased my expectations of a calculator. It can do almost everything anything from basic math to more complex things! It's great, and although it might be a little more expensive then some, it is totally worth every cent of it! ! Defenatly a great buy! Will be ableto use this product for a very longtime!

Our daughter is a Junior and is taking Pre Cal. She needed this calculator and is really appreciative because of it's various functions. It has taken us a while but we where finally able to afford this product. We shopped around and found that Walmart had the best price.

My son borrowed a calculator like this from a friend to take the ACT. He found that he was using it often for his classes. I found this on sale, a great price, at Walmart.com. He finds it very easy to use and invaluable in his college algebra class!

This was purchased for my son who is in 11th grade and needed it for his Math Studies course. He stated that the instructions that came with it were somewhat confusing but his teacher is training them on how to use it. He states further that it is a high quality calculator that is becoming easier to use and the graphics and functions are everything he needs for class. My input on the item is directed towards the price and availability of the purchase. The calculator was quickly out of stock in store at Walmart and also at other stores I checked. At other stores the price was much higher than the prices from Walmart. Even online I found that Walmart had the best deal and ended up ordering it from them. There was a promised delivery date of 5 days but I had it in 2. High quality item at a great price.
