I've spent hundreds at my local salon to get threaded. It made my face extremely red for days so I was in search for a new way to remove a small amount of facial hair. You don't need a lot of pressure in order for this to be effective. Pressing too hard or creating too much pressure can cause too much hair removal.

The packaging is nice and easy to open. The tool is very sleek. It's easy to hold and not nearly as intimidating as expected. The razor cut nicely on the first try and my skin felt very silky afterwards. I would recommend this to others in the market for a facial razor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm so excited to have been using Venus' version of a dermaplaning tool/facial razor. I've used other brands, cheap ones you get 5 to a pack. Those leave your face hair free, but don't really help your skin the way I imagined a dermaplaning tool should. My NEW Venus tool is great! It has little “bumpers” on either edge of the blade so you don't scratch yourself on an edge. When keeping your skin taught and use lightly, hair and dry skin are removed without irritation. I use mine after my shower and use my routine lotion after. My skin is happy.
