[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My teenage son used the Gillette Cool Wave Clear Gel 0.5 oz. He said he likes the scent and that it last all day. He likes that it's clear. He said it works as good as what he is currently using but he will be using this in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This deodorant worked almost as advertised. I was very impressed with the odor blocker. I smelled good for a full 24 hours, even after exercising in some instances. This was impressive and in this aspect out performs other deodorants that I have used. Unfortunately, it didn't seem to hold up to the "48 hours of freshness" claim. 24 hours, yes, but not 48. The antiperspirant didn't seem to be very effective either. I was definitely still sweaty at times, granted, this isn't really different from any other antiperspirant I've used, so maybe I'm just a sweaty person! My major complaint is that it is a gel. I'm really not a fan of gel deodorants. They just don't feel good going on and seem to get their scent on a lot more than just my armpits. That is the only reason why I wouldn't recommend this product to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son used the Gillette Cool Wave Clear Gel that I received, he liked it because he didn't have to worry that there was anything noticeable after putting it on like some of the other deodorants he has used, he doesn't like deodorant that leaves a white or powdery substance on him or his clothing after applying. But he liked the Gillette gel, I'm sure he will ask me to buy it instead of the other deodorant that he was using.

I must say I was very surprised! I felt protected all day and did not worry about having wet marks or stains. I will be going back to roll on!

While the Gillette Cool Wave Gel had a great smell and did indeed provide freshness the whole day, I'm just not a fan of gels. I prefer a clear solid as gels tend to go on a bit sticky and seem to remain that way. If you are a fan of gels don't hesitate on this one as it is quite nice for a gel.
