Premature treadwear - needs to be recalled

Like others, I’m disappointed with premature wear on the Premier LTX, just 15k on a 60,000 mile rated tire and the remaining tread is only at 5/32. Big Michelin fan, but I have to consider others based on this tire.

Biggins, we understand your concern, keep in mind that 5/32 is a considerable amount of remaining tread. This tire has a mileage warranty that your retailer would be able to administer once the tires are considered worn out. A member of our team will be in touch to further discuss the situation.

Awful Tire Wear

Bought these tires for 2017 Acadia on June 24, 2021 and have less than 23000 miles on them and only have 3-4/32 tread left. Despite regular 4 tire rotation. Awful wear history and bad look for Michelin… would not recommend!!!

Coonskin23, we're sorry to read your tires are worn out so soon. The tire has a mileage warranty. We'd suggest that you return to the selling retailer (if possible) for an inspection of the tires. Please have the dealer call us while you are there.

Nice looking tire but crazy short tread life.

Very short tread life for a high profile truck tire. Barely 20K miles. I'm used to 50K to 80K on tires i buy for my trucks and suv's. Took to dealer for rotate and noise and says don't bother.

Premature wear

22k miles into lease on 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee are worn and won’t last the 30k miles before 3 yr lease is up. Other than early wear performance has been fine but no snow last winter.

Premier LTX 255/55R20H XL Light Truck Tire - Garbage

Bought these tires 30,000 miles ago and they are needing replacement. Super disappointed. Apparently reputation means nothing to Michelin. Will not be purchasing from them again.

Bad tread life even after proper rotation

The Premier MTX came on my 2018 Cadillac CT5 and need to be replaced already because the dealer said the tread is gone not happy with this tire !! Maybe go with another brand

Stock tire, horrible tread life

bought a 2019 chevy equinox. Had the GM certified service done regularly (which includes rotation). Car has 17k miles and they are shot. What to do? Try for tread warranty or just get goodyears?

Horrible wear

Horrible tire! Supposed to be good for 60k miles, I have a brand new 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee that has 11500 miles on it. Tires have been rotated at regular intervals and 2 tires are at 4/32nds, 2 at 6/32nds!

Smooth and quiet

Replaced the OE Michelin MXM tires on my 2015 Acura RDX (56,000 miles) with Premier LTXs. Very noticeable improvement in ride comfort, road feel and road noise. Hopefully the treadwear will be as good as the OE tires.

durability issues

This tire came on my wife's new Equinox in 2018. The car now has 18,000 miles on it, and tires are rotated every 6,000 miles. They now have 4/32 tread and I am very disappointed with the tires. Not the Michelin durability to which I am accustomed.
