There's no difference in taste in these and their respective major brand counterpart whether it be the full flavor or lights or menthol etc. The taste and quality is all the same. The company is owned and manufactured on or by a Indian Reservation and my guess is that you're paying half the price because of taxes and probably also because this company wouldn't be part of any huge billion dollar law suits major brands are ordered to pay out.

I am a light smoker of less than a half pack a day buy have been smoking Edgefield Red full flavor 100s for years, decades even and they are consistently the same great satisfying flavor. They are just as good as the big major brands for half the cost.
