- 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase2/4/2026I enjoy having fresh lemon juice available for a variety of uses. We drink a lot of sweet tea & lemon juice is a must. I use lemon juice in preparation of many of the meats that I serve my family. I prefer fresh squeezed over bottled lemon juice. I also think the vitamin C provided is good for our bodies.
Lemons for a variety of uses.
Southern Belle - 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase9/23/2025The perfect amount of lemons. Each lemon is a nice size and quality. Great price at Sam’s! I wash and dry them, put in a well sealed bpa free plastic (or glass) container, layered with paper towels-they last for months in the fridge.
Perfect Amount of Quality Lemons
Sassi - 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase8/18/2026You want scurvy? Kidding. Lasts for weeks. Use I. Drinks, dishes, health ! Lemons are wonderful, just don’t over pay elsewhere. Buy a nice white wine at Sam’s , slice up lemon, summer dream in two steps, slice, pour. Also nice in tequila. On chicken, on fish, in salad dressing, try basil lemonade made with honey. Lemons are a gift, use them! Treat yourself without breaking your meal budget. One or two go a long way eat them daily.
Lemons, come on!
Discerning Buyer - 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase4/2/2026I buy this on repeat because I always like to have lemons and limes at-the-ready for cooking and garnishing. These lemons are always fresh and full of juice
Very Good + A Great Bargain!
Ladybird - 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase8/29/2026They are always fresh and a good buy. Better quality than many places I buy fruit. Sometimes they are smaller than others, but you are buying by the pound, not quantity.
Nice Lemons.. very fresh
RGiblin - 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase5/28/2026These lemons are so big and full of juice they equal 2 of grocery store lemons. They are not super sour they're mild and almost sweet for a lemon. You won't be disappointed.
Wonderful lemons
Gayle Seaver - 4 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase6/24/2026Although they are not organic, and I seem to win the lottery with 1 bad lemon in every bag, I do really like these. The size of the lemons are perfect (smaller side) and quite a few in the bag for a good price. No they are not organic but I do spray them with EatCleaner and store in the fridge with my washed avocados and they last forever. Take them out to get to room temperature before using, roll them around on the counter with some pressure applied, and plenty of juice!
Pretty Good
LS Rockford - 3 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase6/3/2026Every time I get fruit from Sam's in the back big bags and get it home there's always one or two rotten ones in the bag it's a little disappointing me spending your money I'm handicapped so I don't get to come in and out the store as I want returning it can be a problem
Lemons
- 3 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase7/25/2026Be wise when buying lemons at Sam's, you know the saying I ordered limes and you receive lemons 🍋 and not the kind you want. Don't be fooled by the sizes .pay close attention to the Peel of it's too thick don't get it there no juice in it , it will be just skin and bloated.. If the Peel skin is almost perfect and somewhat thin. It's loaded with juice .. Sam's pay attention to what your are selling consumers those lemons are genetically modified and a waste of money. Bigger lemons aren't always better.
Hit /Miss
Jet - 3 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase5/5/2026The yellow colored packaging can obscure spoiling lemons. I have purchased some that didn’t last as long as I think they should have and after I found one in the bunch already molded or becoming hard.
Packaging can be deceptive
Bernard - 3 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase1/8/2020I love these lemons but you have to check the package for bad ones. I ordered them on line to pick up and did not choose the bag myself. Unfortunately whoever selected it at the store did not check for spoiled ones. Next time I will just pick them myself.
Not a good experience
Happy - 3 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase7/4/2024It's difficult to see through the package; but once I opened the bag, the lemons on the bottom were already bad. The ones that weren't spoiled are nice and juicy. This is not an isolated problem. For a long time, I refrained from buying Sam's produce because of this issue.
Many Rotten
NOPE - 2 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase7/29/2026These lemons are so hard that they don’t give you much juice. I used to use one lemon in my salad now to get the same amount of juice. I have to use two lemons. And they are loaded with pits.
Lemons with not so much juice
Helen B - 2 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase5/15/2026Lemons went moldy really fast. Looked good at the store but when we got them home they went moldy the next day. I think lemons should yellow for at least a week not two days. I use lemon in my water to lower my diabetes numbers and I can’t do that with moldy lemons. Don’t think I would recommend these to a friend.
Bad deal.
FC - 1 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase7/12/2026I have repeatedly had problems with the product molding or finding a spoiled lemon in the bag once at home. I have had it happen the last 2 times I've purchased this product, once myself in store and then not a week later received the same quality and it actually 2 that were molded in the package.
CAREFULLY INSPECT FOR MOLD IF PURCHASING!!
Phillip - 1 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase8/25/20262 days all rotten. Has a bio engineered chemical on it to keep it fresh. Claims it is all natural. Seals the lemons up and they go bad within a day or two. Waisted the whole bag.
Walmart quality.
James68 - 1 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase6/13/2026I bought 2 bags of lemons and they were extremely moldy in 2 days, I had to buy 2 more bags, they’re refrigerated so they shouldn’t go bad so quickly! Never had this problem before, but it’s a waste of time and money! Do better Sams
They mold in 2 days
JamieQue - 1 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase9/11/2026Unnaturally yellow, very tough/hard just by touching, more than a dozen seeds inside and not much juice came out! The worst lemons i've ever bought. That speaks volumes to what Sam's cares about..... no product quality control!
HORRIBLE - Zero quality control... just garbage!
geo - 1 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase7/17/2026Every time I order lemons they’re already bad. And every bag I check has multiple bad ones in them. When all the lemons are grouped together, one bad one taints another and so on.
Bad lemons every time.
Chari - 1 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase1/9/20203 of them were rotten, I counted 11 in the bag 3 of which were rotten, with white mole and smelled bad! This is the second time Ived gotten bas lemons, even after I specifically asked to check all produce and to include vetables and dairy products. Wasted money paying for rotten food that could not be utilized!
Buyer Beware, There's Sometime Rotten in the bag!
