I have had this for 10 months alr and writing this review kinda late. Can recommend this product, perfect for your non smart tv and likely better than your smart tv. It’s better than my Firestick TV too. I also have a Google TV, this and the Google TV are on the same level in my opinion. The Apple TV runs so smoothly though and has a chargeable remote. It’s lightweight and doesn’t require lots of chords. Easy to use, I would highly recommend for older people because of its simplicity. Only reason I put 4 stars instead of 5 is because I wish some apps ran smoother. The apps really need to be updated on the TV AppStore. Also I hate the sound effects when clicking and swiping, but this can be easily turned off in settings. Other than that it’s pretty good and I like it a lot 👍

Not 4K. While the website description is correct and tells you this is HD I assumed it was 4K because it said it was the latest model Apple TV and what the heck kind of device isn’t 4K in 2022?? If your like me and bought it on the flash sale for $79 you probably quickly ordered it without realizing it’s not 4K. Nothing wrong with the product just put 1 start to hopefully inform others before they purchase.

I wanted to move over to an Apple TV streaming device because I was told it would be worth it as far a picture and audio goes. However I was given the wrong device and had to bring it back. I didn’t even open the package. I wanted the top of the line one but was given the lower end model. Need to make sure to check before purchasing and leaving the store. Also the associates need to double check before giving you the product.

I always said “why do I need an Apple TV if I have a smart TV?” But after owning one it is hands down something I could not live without. The ability to airplay to my TV, use it as a smart hub, voice control, and the voice search function and so many more make it super convenient. Here is where it falls short. I am super careful and handle my things with care. The power button popped out (google it and it’s common) also sometimes when you use the “touch gesture” to navigate the tv or close apps with the middle button it will sometimes just jitter and not work smoothly. I’m over the moon for the Apple TV and I will keep buying them but I hope the 3rd gen has a better quality remote or they redesign it in the 4th gen.

I love this Apple TV I have a hd tv so this is perfect and I love the new remote and the new updates for years to come and also it work’s seamlessly between my AirPods,Apple Watch and iPhone and also a great price

This is actually model of A1625. Which is an old model of HD version released by 2015 NOT the newest 4K. But it come with a new remote. The remote is kinda $59 in Apple Store. So I can take it for my smaller tv which is not 4K.

Love the Apple platform. The integration with your phone is nice cause the remote is always getting legs and walking off at my house!
