I am a teacher and I use this size composition book for Science. It is smaller than a regular composition book, with less pages, and a flexible cover, which makes it easy to carry to the lab. The flexible cover is also nice because by the end of the school year, after we have added several inserts and foldables, it will still lay flat. I have used this size for years and either keep them is a Science basket or have the students keep them in a ziplock bag.

I bought 7 of these notebooks for my teens. When the books arrived the size had me laughing. I gave the notebooks to my 4yrs old, they are so small they suit prek perfectly.

too small and not durable for a 6th grader

very flimsy & small...would be good for a preschooler but not anyone older then that.
