Do not buy! Will not melt!

We have bought these over the years and sometimes they are fine, as far as melting, and other times, like today, they refuse to melt. We are trying to melt in oven over top of pretzels and they will not get to right consistency. We have chalked it up to possibly "expired" wafers, even though in this case, the date is far off (over a year). Thank goodness they are not that expensive, but that is not the point. It's annoying to start a project to discover it won't turn out. Waste of time!!! I agree, bring back the Ghiradelli !!

Not Good

These are NOT good. The almond bark from Dollar General is leaps and bounds better than this. The taste is too sweet and “thick” for our liking.

Double boiler doesn't work

My first time using member's mark for this. I used double boiler for better results and the oils separated. It looks like mashed potatoes! I'd include a picture, but this app doesn't allow it.

Not For Me

They don't melt as smooth or thin out as nicely as the Ghirardelli brand that used to be sold in place of these. Ruined my cake pops. I'll stick with the Ghirardelli.

Good Flavor, Melted Beautifully

This was my first time ever doing a recipe with melting wafers, and I am very long in the tooth. I melted these guys in a makeshift double boiler, in a stainless steel bowl, on the gentlest heat I could manage on my gas stove. Stirring constantly like the directions said, they melted wonderfully. I have never used any other brand of melting wafers, so have nothing to compare these to, but we found the flavor just fine, having used them to make that Christmas Chex confection, (probably the name would be too offensive here) 11 cups Chex cereal, 2 cups salty peanuts, 2 cups salty mini pretzels, one small bag red and green m&m's stirred in after things had cooled a bit. Good flavor, wonderful texture at the end. Follow the directions. Gentle heat. Most of the ingredients I purchased at Sam's.

Easy to use and so tasty!

PLEASE make these permanent. They taste so much better than almond bark. Super easy to melt in the microwave.

null

Didn't melt properly on two separate attempts. Tried both microwave and stove top and followed instructions on package both times. Unsuccessful.

Better than the "milk chocolate"

While the "milk chocolate" version by Members Mark was terrible, this white chocolate had good flavor and melted well. It's still not Ghirardelli , but I would use this again.
