On 12/27/2023 @ 08:54am, I purchased a copy of TurboTax deluxe 2023 (with CD) from Sam's Club in Maplewood, Missouri. A few hours later, I tried to return the unopened TurboTax Deluxe CD (with my receipt) because I forgot I had already purchased a copy of TurboTax Deluxe CD 2023 but the Maplewood Sam's Club membership desk declined my return request, saying it was not written in their policy but they treated this type of purchase as a Gift card or pre-paid card and they cannot be return with or without a receipt. I called Sam's Club 1-888 customer service phone number (on hold for more than an hour) and was told they could not help but to contact Maplewood Sam's Club customer service desk. I feel like I am getting no where fast and just the big run around from the Maplewood Sam's Club service desk. For the first time, I am not a happy Sam's Club customer!!!!!!!!

The Error is on Sam's Club side. Ordered this Turbo Tax Deluxe specifically for the CD. I was sent the in store brochure with the yellow sticker up in the R corner saying EMPTY PACKAGE Bring to cashier to purchase product. I called customer service and the 1st order was cancelled & money refunded. I was told to order it again online & received the same Empty Package bring to cashier to purchase product. Most frustrating. Nearest Sam Club is an hours drive. Never has this problem in years past.

Received item and tried installing it on 2 computers and both stated that the disk was corrupt. Sam's allowed me to return; however, they emailed me a prepaid label and now I have to go out and find a Fed Ex location to drop it off. Sam's should allow me to package and schedule a time for Fed Ex to pick it up at my location. Fed Ex is in my neighborhood all the time and it would not be any trouble.
