[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] #sweepstakes# I think it is a clever idea but unfortunately ineffective. It basically just sprayed water on my dog and he was shivering because he was sopping wet. There was absolutely no suction. This product needs improvements.

This is pretty good.But a little loud even with the mat under it. My dogs were scared so I tried putting the motor part in one room and closing the door slightly to lessen the noise. I think it did a good job. However, for two small dogs it is a lot of set up and clean up of the machine. I will keep it for when tv get really muddy but may not be my regular go to for a bath.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Make my dogs clean and soft. My dogs like this better than bathtub. They are not afraid of this and it's less work for me to clean up after their bath. My dogs smell so nice with bissell dog shampoo.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Worked as advertised. Did a good job. It would be much better for dogs larger than mine - one 13# the other 17#. I had a tough time getting it to work on their small frames. Did a great job cleaning and they were much dryer when we were finished than they are even after drying with a conventional bath, but it is not stellar for the little guys.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My property is full of clay and what a mess it is when it rains! My 3 dogs are clean and fresh easily, quickly and anywhere they are comfortable! This model does not scare my dogs at all, but if a dog happens to be nervous the hose is long enough for the unit not to be too close.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only used the Bissell Bark Bath once but it was much faster, my dogs dried faster and so far have remained cleaner longer. I had quite a bit of water on the floor but I think that is just me having to learn how to use it better.

This product was not very good. I clean houses for a living and thought one of my clients might like this for her dog. The dog hates baths and has wirery hair she ordered this product and we tried it out the next time I went to clean her house. The vacuum part did not work very well and by the time we were finished there was a water mess all over the floor and the dog was very wet still and my client and I decided that it would have been easier and less messier to just have given the dog a bath in the sink or tub. This might work better for maybe a grooming business but dose not work well for an individual household. The good things about this product was the micro fiber matt and towel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product was to bathe an older dog that is hard to give a bath too. I love the versatility of this unit and the lightweight. However, I bathed my dog once and the base unit started leaking all over. I contacted Bissell for a replacement.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a cocker spaniel. We let her hair grow a little longer during winter months. I was skeptical that it would actually clean her very well. I was pleasantly surprised that it did a good job. I highly recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only good part was the shampoo bundle. Loved the no rinse dog shampoo it really does get rid of urine odor. I have 4 dogs, one is an elderly white shepherd that has difficulty standing for long. Our elderly dog needs frequent baths I had hoped the bark bath would be our winter solution but unfortunately it just isn't. The bark bath is more f a power sprayer than anything else I followed instructions but only about a teaspoon of dirty water went into the tank. I ended up towel drying our senior because her fur was soaked but after over 40 minutes spent trying to suck off some rinse water the dirty water tank was still almost completely dry. I tried washing our other shorter hair dogs and no additional water entered the return tank so again I was towel drying dogs. For me, it is an expensive spray bottle because it has no suction. The shampoo bundle was the bright spot in an otherwise bad purchase. Sad because I hoped to help bathe other rescue pups.
