Installed the 22kw whole house transfer switch generator at the completion of the construction of our new home. First time having a system like this to keep the power on. It sure adds happiness to our family living in Florida where high humidity and high temperatures during Hurricanes when the power is out will keep us comfortable.

The generator arrived on time well packaged and undamaged direct from the factory. It was installed by my local electrician and plumber without any major problems. The cabinet looks great and the runtime doesn't seem to bother my neighbors. First time we asked it to generate during a power outage it worked flawlessly.

It has been an adventure getting this thing installed! I live in Central Texas, and knowledgeable installers are few and far between. THEN- you have to deal with the weather! Anyway, we finally got it installed and running today (I have it since March, 2012)! It performed as advertised when we simulated a power outage! I almost can't wait for the real thing!

This generator and transfer switch perform flawlessly. In less than a minute, power is restored to the whole house during a power outage. The WIFI connection is a wonderful feature. The Generac dealer knows if there is problem with the system before I do. The installation went quickly without any hiccups. I could not ask for a more thorough and professional installation. I live in unincorporated New Lenox; seems we lost power a lot. (Older Section, Above Lines, Transformers) Now retired with my wife, don't want to be messing around with extension cords, portable generator that won't start @ 3:00AM in the morning (plus No gas). After talking to Baker Electric @ the Tinley Park, Illinois home show, I was SOLD! (And I went to buy windows, so go figure). The Generac is the CADILLAC of Whole House Generators the way I look at it. Generac's sale's representee's are extremely helpful, responsive, and informative! Plus, the 10year warranty helped persuade me too. WELL SPENT MONEY!

Ordered 22k Guardian w/switch, pad & battery July 6. Order shipped the 9th and delivered curbside the 13th. Arranged our own 500 propane tank including placement of Generac and gas connection. Had an electrician complete the transfer switch wiring. All tests performed perfectly. Company support during the activation process was very efficient. Could not ask for a better overall experience.
