We decided to purchase a whole house generator after the February 2021 freeze in Texas. We looked at several companies and generator brands and choose a 24KW whole house, Wi-Fi Generac. It will support our heating and cooling unit, as well as anything we may need should the power go out for any reason. We signed the contract in June and the final start-up was January 5th. A long time, but it was worth the wait! The unit is top notch and we are very happy with the product and the company that installed it. We do have one suggestion for Generac, why not make either put your logo on both sides of the unit or make both a left hand and right-hand installation so based on where the unit is installed in the yard, your logo shows. We had to install ours on the left side of the yard, so the exhaust blows away from the fence, so the Generac logo faces the fence. If we faced it with Generac showing the exhaust would blow into the eves of our house....just a thought/suggestion.

We live on a farm and having electric is a necessity to run our well for water for our 40 plus Boer meat goats. As we are aging we were looking for a "hands off" power source to keep us in power. We were using a portable generator. This generator did not run our well to supply water for our goats. So we had to haul water from another water source. It was also labor intensive to continually add fuel. We are now very relieved to know when the "lights go out" the "Generac will go on". We are extremely pleased with our Generac Guardian 22kW generator.

Finally have power peace of mine with the startup of a 22KW whole house generator. No more hassle of a portable generator with limited power and worrying about getting gasoline to keep it going. The generator has clean lines, and the wifi provides monitoring through our generac dealer. My only regret was not doing it sooner. Feel good about protecting my home and family from mother nature. With lots of generacs in our neighborhood feel good about selecting a proven, quality, reliable power solution.

Our dealer/installer Absolute Solar and Energy Solutions installed our backup generator today. The installers were very professional, skilled, knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. I was very impressed. They handled all aspects of the job to provide a turn-key solution which I very much appreciated. The generator worked flawlessly during the tests which leaves me with confidence that it will be there when my family needs it the most. We also installed the mobile link wifi monitoring app on my smartphone so that I can check the status of the generator from anywhere at any time. I highly recommend Generac generators.

Out generator was installed while we were experiencing 2 hurricanes! We were blessed to not be without power and have not used our generator as of yet, but there is another hurricane set to make landfall within the next few hours so we are happy to be set up and ready.

I used a Generic generator for the last 13 years in a response trailer in emergency callouts. I didn't hesitate to go with Generac when we built our house 5 1/2 years ago. The transfer switch panel was installed when the house was built but for some reason we waited until now to have the generator installed. My wife doesn't like the camping mode when we lose power...... I can't believe how incredible this generator is. Even though it is brand new and we haven't had the chance too test in a real time power loss, it worked flawlessly when the electricians tested it. My local electrician who is also the one that wired my house when it was built has been incredible. Thanks Danny!!!!!

As a Florida resident, I know that weather events can adversely affect me for extended periods. This generator allows me, along with my pets. to stay safe and comfortable until power is restored. In addition, the control panel is user friendly and it is easy to check the oil status when called for.

Just had this installed at my home. Todd Eppley/Darien Generators did a great job installing and was able to coordinate all the moving parts to get this done in a smooth fashion without much headache to me. He answered all my questions and look forward to having this protection in place. I recommend his services highly.

I would recommend this to anyone. I consider it an asset to our home. We have a handicapped daughter in our home and it will help us to not have to leave our home in certain situations. Thank you Generac for making generators that help to make our lives better.

Recently had 22k generator installed. Has yet to run like it is supposed to. Three repairs, one new circuit board and a replacement battery. Two visits to rewire. And, it took more than a year to get finished. Had to remind installer to request building permits approval twice. And, to top it off, Generac charges $50 a year for their app to monitor if it is working. Would not recommend this company! To say I’m disappointed is an understatement!
