My new Generac 22KW was expertly installed by Holly Electric craftsmen Matthew, James, Jason and Cody. My new generator cycles just as explained and (almost silently) runs great. I have great peace of mind that my family will never again experience an unnecessary power outage, especially whenever I am away from home.

We have just had the generator installed so I am not able at this time to speak as to the dependable service of the generator. However I was most impressed with the service personnel at Platinum Electrical who installed the generator. They made the installation process a very comfortable one.Both my wife and I were grateful for the professionalism they displayed. They answered all our questions and confirmed in our minds that the purchase of the generator was the right decision.

The generator is good, I do wish the generator and the transfer switch were painted the same color. I know its minor, but it bothers me. The gray color of the transfer switch blends in well with my house siding. I have my generator installed near my a/c units and they are all gray, but the generator itself stands out with its beige/tan color. I also with it could be a little more quiet and the sound proofing on the generator lid does'nt stay in place very well. Every time I open the top cover the sound proofing has fallen down.

Our 24KW Whole-Home generator was just installed, so the above itemized ratings are somewhat 'expectations'. Because our regional electric-power provider is planning to transition to a greater level of wind-turbine and solar E-power, while simultaneously encouraging customers to purchase all-electric vehicles (BEVs), and our home is 100% electric, including electric/hydronic heating - we felt very uncomfortable with the expectation of future brown-outs. Part of the checkout included a utility-power-loss simulation, and a progressive full-house-loading, The GENERAC system handled it well and the generator supported the whole-house-load at less than 70% generator load. The providing electrical contractor did an very efficient and professional job. We're now comfortable.

Nice looking unit, and solid installation. Our installer was excellent, and did a very professional job. I wish the case had some heavy insulation inside to help dampen the sound (like Cummins does). Generac claims the unit is quiet, and quotes 65 decibel readings. Using a professional decibel meter I'm getting 85 decibels, with higher readings under load. Not much help from Generac when I called to ask if there was some way to get it down to the advertised 65 decibels. So if noise isn't an issue for you, it's a great generator. But if you're in a subdivision of closely spaced home like we are, you certainly won't have many friends left after the thing has been hammering away and disturbing everyone within 3 or 4 houses of you! I strongly suggest finding one you could listen to before you buy.

I just got my generator installed. I can't really say much since I haven't had a power failure yet. I was a bit shocked at how far the generator was placed away from the house. It kinda sit out in the yard. The wifi wasn't connected and wasn't told how to until I contacted Mobile Link. The installation of the unit near my circuit breaker was done very well. I'll give more feedback later.

After having a flooded basement I decided to get a whole house generator. I was just going to get a Generac because of their excellent reputation. I did look at the competition and they were not bad. But nothing to prove they were better than a Generac. I bit the bullet and had the 22KW whole house unit installed. The installers did a thoroughly professional job. I was very pleased. Now I was ready for anything mother nature wanted to throw at me. Well it wasn't four hours after the install was done and we had a storm come thru. We lost power and the Generac came shining thru. Came on with no problems. It was only on a short time. But that just verified that I made the right decision to choose a Generac. The mobile link option is really cool. It is nice to have an update anytime something changes with the generator. Choose Generac - I did and very Happy that I did.

We recently had the Generac 22kw installed. We are very pleased with the looks and quality of the Generac. We did shop around and felt it was the best product available. We also liked that we were able to buy the optional Generac pad, made especially for the the Generac, to keep it level. It runs very quiet considering it is an engine. We like that it starts up once a week to keep it in good running condition. With a member of the household having health issues it is wonderful not to have to worry about not having power. The installers were great and we like being on the e-mail list for more information. We referred the Generac to a friend and they also purchased one.

We had this installed at our elderly mother's home to offer the security she needs. She is on oxygen and her battery-operated oxygen generator will only last a few hours. Not only does the generator itself offer piece of mind but the fact that we can see via the app that everything is working properly adds a whole new layer of assurance. In addition, the monitoring service helps the whole family sleep better knowing that our mother's needs are being met and it is hassle-free.

Guardian 22 KW GenSet plus 200A ATS installed by Doug Williford and Sons at lake house in Sabine County Texas on 2/28/2022 with no problems. Propane System installed next day. First test came a few days later when we lost utility power for 30 minutes. Gen Set started up and powered house just fine. Shut down as expected when power was restored. Great addition to the lake house. Only issue is it took 10 months from time of order date to install date. Suggest you start the process real early. Doug Williford and Sons was great to work with.
